As a profound critic and philanthropist I would like to give this place a 1 out of 10. Now please bare with me as I explain. The servers are great, the hostesses are cool. The place is always packed on a Sunday during football season and it does get hectic. My only problem when I went with my company was the manager Jon. I do not know how to spell his name or if their is another Jon manager that works there currently as well. All I will say is he was disrespectful ad uncaring in a way that I questioned on why he is a manager in the hospitality industry. So let me explain. I started my night with grilled wings. At the time I needed to eat something that would not irritate my mouth as I recently had some dental work done and have not ate anything of essence in about a week as I had to wait for my mouth to heal. So of course as precaution I ordered the grilled wings thinking it would not cause much pain. When the wings came, they were grilled harrrrrd and I could not even finish two. (I do not have any pictures as the disrespect i experienced i had to remove my self and keep my composure). When i brought the issue up to my server, she completely understood and advised she would bring this to her manager's (John) attention. I then proceeded to order something soft so i decided on the chili. As i tasted the chili, it was sooooo spicy that i started to sweat and my dental work could not handle the heat of the amount of spice in the chili. I decided not to eat this bowl as well. I then politely explained to my server and she completely understood and brought this to her manager's (John) attention. I want to remind my readers that I did not eat the meals described and just tasted the food brought to me. The server then came back and reluctantly told me the manager would not take the items off of my bill. This reminded me of my friend Ye who told me about modern slaves and how people may never understand his lyrics until they suffered from the struggles of a slave in modern society. I understood the look of my waitresses face and advised her I would like to speak to him as he should never had given her the task to do such in a packed environment "AS A MANAGER OF HOSPITALITY". When John arrived and I explained to him my issue with me being unable to eat the food served as; the wings were grilled too hard and the chili was extremely too spicy to eat. He then advised me he would not take it off of the bill even though the food was not eaten. As a philanthropist and a profound critic I was highly disappointed in my treatment and the rudeness of a manager that treats his employees as slaves and not keys to a company. This establishment would have had a 8/10 as the food on tis night was not up to my liking but as I said; I am a critic and I understand how things work. Today my company shall give this experience a 1/10 and it had nothing to do with the environment or servers. Mr. John, you have disrespected the essence of this industry and you need to find another career if you cannot service paying guests or treat your employees with respect and empathy. I also would like to add that when I told him about the issue with the food he stated "It's fine just...
Read moreCame in once before and had sub-par service. Nothing crazy but I was aggravated that it took 35 minutes to get our drinks. This second trip takes the cake. Took 15 minutes to get seated for a table of 8 because “we gotta get the table ready.” Well we saw them get the table ready after seating 3-4 other parties in front of us. Getting the table ready included pushing 2 tables together about 16” apart and dropping 8 menus and silverware in the center that we had to pass out ourselves. When food came, my niece never got her salad and my sister asked 3x for ranch before my brother in law flagged down the manager and finally got it. When we asked about the salad after they had already eaten the meals, we were told they couldn’t take it off the bill so we would have to wait for it and my sister said we don’t need it now so they substituted Mac n cheese for it to take home. When my sisters family got their bill, the waitress stopped and counted then said “oh wait, yall got 8 people, I’m gunna have to bring yall a new bill with gratuity added.” Then the waitress tells us she’s got to “go get ready for the madness that’s coming later tonight and just wave at her if we need anything.” My family and my parents ordered after my sister’s family and when we ordered I told the waitress my parents were also ready and she said she had to go put ours in first then she’d be back for their order. Well about 15 minutes we flag her down for their order. Our food comes out about 2 minutes after they finally order and they proceed to wait 54 minutes for their food before my mother asked the manager to step in and he said “let me change these TVs then I’ll look into it.” He ended up bringing the food out and telling us it was a miscommunication between employees which we find out means she never put the order in which mistakes happen that’s fine, but the problem lies with the fact that she lied and told us that the oil had to be changed. Our family owns a restaurant and we definitely understand stuff happens, but I can’t imagine that somebody made the decision to change the oil mid shift between 5-6pm on a weekend during March Madness and obviously we found out from the manager that wasn’t the case. The food was actually good for bar food, but our waitress was beyond awful. Not only that but the excuses she gave were incredible. At one time we were told that “I have another table now too so feel free to flag me down again if needed.” As if to say, “I’m not gunna check in on yall again.” Lastly we reordered drinks again and neither my mother’s Diet Pepsi or my girlfriend’s beer were brought out by the waitress. One took about 5 minutes and the other took about 10-12 minutes to come out. I didn’t even mention that the place was relatively empty when we first got there and never really filled up. I will add though, that the manager took my parents food off their bill for waiting...
Read moreThis is a fun lively place for getting good food and drinks. There are plenty of screens to watch your favorite sporting event. I ordered the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer and they were cooked perfectly. Nice crispy with a good tasting sauce on the outside delivered on a bed of lettuce. Excellent choice. Then I ordered a Caesar side salad which turned out to be a crouton side salad. The lettuce was dwarfed by the amount of croutons in the bowl. Then I ordered some Thai chili wings dry rubbed. The flavor was amazing but the wings were the smallest wings I've ever seen. The flats were so skinny I don't know how you can even include that as a wing. Now we had a large party with some children involved also and the food came out very sporadically. We finally ended up going to find someone to help us because the children's food wasn't coming out after everyone else had their meals and it finished eating them. The manager came to the table and they quickly delivered almost the same identical items that we've already ordered again to the table. That's not what we were asking for, but they left the food for us to eat anyway. We were just trying to get the children's food out. The manager made some corrections to our bill giving us our appetizers for free. That was appreciated but their delivery system for the food was very confusing. You have your server taking the orders but other people are delivering your food which seemed to get screwed up. And then our server couldn't get our bills correct without a lot of finagling. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively. They also have a dedicated smoking area that's partitioned off from the rest of the building. We were in a separate area which was nice because we could hear each other easily whereas in the main part of the restaurant I feel like it would have been pretty noisy out there. We will go there again and I think they will probably do better. It was a Friday night and they were very busy.
We sat in the main part of the restaurant this time. They are obviously still having staffing problems as the service was very slow. The food was delicious and our server was friendly enough once...
