Cross Posted If I could give zero stars I would. My party of 8 attended this location for a birthday celebration this Saturday and had the absolute worst experience thanks to managers Matt and Brian. We ordered plenty of beverages and apps which were all just okay (Personally I thought the spinach and artichoke dip was the most bland I had ever tasted but others in my party enjoyed so we kept it). Our food then comes and one persons chicken dish was absolutely raw! I mean still pink with tinged juices coming out raw. Two others had the protein completely absent from their two different meals that was not supposed to be. A fourth just wasn't satisfied with the taste of the meal so she sent it back. Manager Matt approaches our table asking what was wrong. We let him know about the uncooked chicken, the messed up entrees, and then the one that did not like her meal. Matt takes all of the meals off of the table and advised he would remove the two wrong orders from the ticket and asked if he could remake the raw chicken meal. This was declined due to the circumstances..raw chicken can really make one ill so no thank you. Matt then comes back and advises that the meal that was was sampled by his chef who stated that this meal is perfect "so what would you like to do because there's nothing wrong with this food". Totally taken aback by his demeanor towards us we requested another manager. Brian then approaches the table with the same indifferent attitude stating that he isn't taking the entrees off of the bill that were sent back. Although, one bite of the entree was consumed and sent directly back to the kitchen, Brian wanted us to pay for meals that were not consumed. He stated this was corporate's policy and he wasn't "buying back this whole table". No one asked him to comp anything except removing the entrees that were sent back untouched. Ultimately, Brian (who informed us that he had been manager at this establishment for 4 1/2 years) stated that he is standing by the word of his chef that nothing is wrong with this food and that we need to pay for the meals not consumed.

At this point my party contacted Fairfax PD for rectification of this absurd situation. Even FFPD was stunned at Matt's and Brian's standpoint of making a customer pay for a meal that they did not like or consume. Brian even confirmed the meals were not touched with FFPD but stated we needed to pay anyway. Ultimately, FFPD made the suggestion that the meals that were not consumed be removed from the bill so we could go on our way which is what happened. The absolute most appalling part though is that Brian had us TRESPASSED from this location for HIS wrong doing.

I WILL NEVER GIVE ANOTHER DIME OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN.

Corporate was contacted but still waiting on resolution. Will this...

I'm always skeptical of a restaurant that claims to specialize in just about every genre of a food on the planet. When I open up a menu and see 6-7 pages of dining options, each almost completely different than the one before, I harken back to the small, hometown restaurant that says they make the best pizza in the state, but also offers sushi and breakfast food.

Most food places simply can't do everything well and I'm afraid that Maggie McFly's is no exception.

After taking a poll of the other folks who dined with me when I went, the food was just mediocre. No one hated their meal, but no one was absolutely blown away by the quality or flavor.

I get a little overwhelmed when faced with such a substantial menu, so I typically ask the waiter for their recommendation by simply asking, "What are you known for?" I've found that's a pretty good way to narrow down on their specialties. However, our waiter wasn't really able to pick anything specific. She mentioned that the burgers were really good, but also the teriyaki and the salads and so on.

Based on her recommendation, I went with the steak teriyaki. Overall, the food was good. The steak was cooked nicely, the vegetables were flavorful and the rice was soft and easy to eat. But, honestly, it wasn't vastly different than the stir fry my mom used to make at home. That's pretty good too and it doesn't cost me $10+.

All in all, just not blown away.

The music on the other hand, almost did blow me away. We asked to sit outside on the patio because it was a beautiful, cool evening and the hostess placed us at a hightop underneath the speaker that was playing music. My word, it felt like I was at a rock concert. We couldn't hear conversations that were happening around the table and it eventually just forced us into silence because no one could communicate with anyone else. We asked our waiter if they would be willing to turn it down and, while she did, it was somewhat negligible. Not a whole lot of difference.

I don't hate Maggie McFly's and, honestly, I would like to come back and try something new, but I was definitely disappointed. I was hoping for something new and exciting in Springfield Town Center but I don't think we got it with...

Been here twice now and both times were great!

If you're coming during a busy time call ahead. This place gets packed. They don't take reservations but they make you the priority. We were seated in less than 10 minutes during the dinner madness.

Happy hours 3pm to 6pm and 10pm to closing weekdays only.

Free bread sticks!!! Am I at the the Olive Garden? Yay!!! Eat them fast as they get mundane after a while like most bread. So good though.

Impossible Burger. Wow. Name says it all. I tried an "Impossible burger" elsewhere was just ok meh so what big whoop BUT this version is like some yummy veggie big mac. Don't think its vegan because of the sauce and bun but if you're a vegetarian GET IT!! Even non tree people loved it at my table. Impossible!!!

Apps. Cauliflower BBQ. DAMN this was good. It's crunchy and drenched in what tasted like Texas Pete hot sauce. Was great.

Brussel sprouts. Was great but had bacon, which I don't eat but I DID try the latest youtube craze. I took the bacon and put it up to my nose and smelled it as I ate the sprouts. Haha. Made my former meat eating brain THINK I was eating that sweet and smokey bacon in which I'll never taste again. Was awesome.

Dessert: Peach cobbler and s'mores. Both were great. Cobbler was smore better. If you have kids get the s'mores for 2. It can easily be good for 4 people plus it's fun. They give you a little campfire set.

Why you take star away!!!??? Well....

No drink prices on their menu. I found this weird. I've traveled to 41 countries and no menu prices triggers this SCAM ALERT I have in my everyone is out to scam me wanderer brain. I'm sure it's fine and they are probably reasonably priced but this just brought back bad memories in which I'll never go through again. If you see priceless menus in English Speaking countries in Europe RUUUUUUN!!!! Urgh!!! I can rant for hours on this.

Veggie burger.....this was a mess. Don't recommend it. Was a so soggy disaster.. pay extra for the Impossible Burger. It truly is beyond deliciousness. Anyway.

Woohoo awesome new place!! ...

Update Review: We came here on a Wednesday night and it took some time for our server to come to our table. It took 10 minutes to get our water and another 25 minutes to get our ddrinks. Our server was friendly but service overall was disappointing. We ordered the spinach Artichoke dip which was alright. For dinner, I got the Tuna melt and my fiance got a burger [I don't remember which one]. Burger was alright, the sweet potato fries were definitely the best thing that evening. The Tuna melt was disappointing. Not super Cheesy or warm. A little disappointing overall. Older review: I come here pretty often and I enjoy the large menu because it does give you a variety. It's next to a man and several other restaurants so there's a huge parking lot but it can get pretty busy so finding parking close can be difficult sometimes. We waited a couple minutes before being sat in the bar booth area, I imagine because we came here around 8 PM. I tried the Fit Wine Chardonnay they had [9 oz] and it was surprisingly not bad. A little lighter than a normal chardonnay but I enjoyed it. For the appetizers, we ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Fried Pickles. Loved the Buffalo Cauliflower, a good crisp and very flavorful. The Fried pickles were a little lacking in flavor. Very crispy but I felt as if the batter was plain and was missing seasoning. I ordered a Thai Chicken Salad subbed with Spinach instead of Mixed Greens and my boyfriend ordered the Teriyaki Bowl with Shrimp instead of Chicken and lettuce instead of brown rice. The salad was indeed a Giant Salad and was pretty good - I liked that they put the dressing on the side. The Teriyaki Bowl was very watery but it was pretty good. The lettuce and everything was sitting on top of watery Teriyaki broth almost. They gave about 5 decent sized shrimp for the substitution. Everything came out to about ~$77 and service was pretty decent. Huge menu and will likely come back and try more.
