McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

This is about a complaint about finding a Band aid in my food, and now I feel really sick. My cousin, his girlfriend and I came to the McDonalds drive thru around 6:30ish pm on 02/03/24 and ordered our food in 2 separate orders. When we received our food, we realized that we were missing a mcchicken for one of our orders, we got that resolved quickly with no complaint. But, thats just to add on top for what Im about to tell you what I found. When we came back home we were eating our food and my cousin found the rubber part of the band aid in his food. We went back since we live relatively close to the location and asked for a new meal for my cousin ( mind you I still havent got to my food and its waiting back home in the bag) they gave us a fresh meal and the lady behind the counter said that "it was probably the paper bag that accidentally fell in the food and we shouldn't worry about it". We got our meal and came back home thinking nothing of it, I was eating most of my food, but while I got to the fries towards the bottom, I found the cotton part of the bandaid with BLOOOD ON IT!! We came back a second time and asked for a refund respectfully. The Manager Lady told us no because we ate most of the meal, and only gave us 11 dollars for the Big Mac meal which my cousin didnt eat ,it was also the meal we had re done with the rubber part of the bandaid that was found the first time; we left with the building unsatisfied because we didnt get our money back. It also really disgusting, people can get sick, WORST CASE STDS!! so I left pretty pissed but respectfully because Im not the type of person to confront about these situations, but now that I think about I wished I shouldve because later that night around 10pm I started feeling nauseous and started throwing up. So thats why Im writing this review, I would love to talk to an actual Manager or another higher up to help me resolve this situation because THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, IT MAKES ME NEVER WANT TO EAT MCDONALDS AGAIN, I LEFT NOT ONLY UNSATISFIED, BUT REALLY DISGUSTED ESPECIALLY NOW BECAUSE I STARTED THROWING UP LATER THAT NIGHT. We came around 6:30pm came back the first time around 7pm, and the last time around 7:20pm so in total we had to come to the location 3 times and left disappointed. A friend of mine, her husband is a Veteran, as well as I am... I drove from Staunton/Waynesboro to Richmond, VA for his wife's doctor's appointment. This would be my very first time going to Richmond, VA.

We were hungry and his wife wanted to stop at McDonalds. I ordered a double cheeseburger meal, I wanted a Sprite with my meal. His wife went into the restaurant, and then she was back at the car. That was fast.

My meal... I took a sip of my Sprite...it tasted funky. The tater reminds me of when no one bothered to clean the nozzles on the machine for 2 to 3 weeks. The taste was of a sugary, stale and left out in the open. It tasted also of something plastic and unclean.

I took the Double Cheeseburger out of the wrapping and bit into it without looking at it. I haven't eaten McDonald's in almost a year. Three quarters thru the burger, I looked at the meat. What was left of the meat it looked like two patties have been left in the warmer way past the time ... It looked like it was sitting in the warmer for 2 hours. The patties were almost black, they were a very dark brown. I took 4 small sips of the Sprite to wash down the Double Cheeseburger. The only thing that was 100% on the money were the fries. They were hot and fresh.

Yes, I did eat the whole double cheeseburger, I was hungry. I was very disappointed... I mean my favorite item on the entire menu was...

Sooooooo, The Girl sounded annoyed as soon as she came on the loud speaker like damn I didnt fill out the application for you, you choose to work here but whatever. After gasping and clutching my fake pearls I ordered briefly whilst she just went silent and then asked if that was it in an annoyed voice. I slightly chuckled and concluded my order smh. When I finally did get to the window she just opened it and looked at me like I was in the wrong for even wanting to come to her place of employment where you know they serve food mind you. No "Hi $5.65" nothing just looked at me and stuck her hand out,MIND YOU the manager is right there next to her (I could tell she was a manager by the sweater and Fred from Scooby Doo handkerchief around her neck) the manger looked just as over it as she did. I could she her stuffing things in my bag and just handed it to me, No receipt no thanks goodnight NADA. Smh ladies and gentlemen I rarely leave reviews but this for sure grinded my gears smh....And dont EVEN get me started on the over golden refried french fries and half cold half hot 10 piece I received along with an apple pie with no "Eat by time" that was hard like everything about this experience and food was just trash and piss poor....I'm gonna write a letter In my Shawn Wayans voice from...
