This review is for the bar area near the gates on old building at Reagan. Where do I start..... Does this place have a manager? A manager that cares is a better question. Sat down and the area was a freaking mess. Dirty napkins every where and clear they haven't wiped down the area in a while. The mat is soaking wet. Well I have some time so lets order a beer. A women sits down across from me and orders a toasted sandwich well after my arrival. Some how the neighbour's toasted sandwich comes out BEFORE my beer that i ordered well before her order. What? Of course I'm seeing a large draft up there just sitting....you got it, it is mine. 5 minutes maybe it sat there. I'm boilin. Well some nice woman decides to pick it up and bring it to me with this massive grin on her face, she is staring me down. If the beer wasn't cold i would have given it to her and asked for a manager but somehow the damn beer is ice cold. So 5 stars on the cold Sam Adams. Note nice woman has no intent of cleaning our table. Smiles and i'm out of here! Now i'm interested, as a business owner and someone that worked in a restaurant as youngster. I watch intently. As I'm looking at the dirty area around us, i see our nice lady and 3 of her friends sitting around laughing and having a good time. They walk by dirty dishes accross the area as if non existent. Also there is a guy that might be management, dressed up a bit, bald head, in front and behind the bar so someone is there to maybe over see these folks?
So I guess what pisses me off more is they ask for a tip before a service is provided. I would like mine back please based on the terrible service provided. Let me know how we execute this refund. You didn't earn anything today.
At my businesses, someone would be retrained once and then fired, I don't care how tight the...
Read moreToday at around 5:08 PM, I had an experience at your establishment that left me feeling disappointed. When I asked a young man working there for some hot water, he responded dismissively, saying, “What do you mean hot water? We don’t have hot water to give; you have to buy tea.” I explained that I was willing to pay for tea but didn’t need it, just the hot water. His tone became more annoyed as he told me they don’t do that sort of thing.
While I respect that it may be policy to only serve hot water with tea, the dismissive manner in which this was handled left a negative impression. Acts of kindness, even small ones, often create a better experience for customers and foster goodwill. It saddened me, as I’ve had wonderful experiences with others from similar cultural backgrounds who embody generosity and kindness.
As someone guided by faith, I try to see situations from all perspectives and understand that there may be reasons for his response. However, I hope businesses will recognize the value of small gestures, which can mean so much to customers. I chose not to leave the small tip I had planned, as this interaction diminished my overall experience.
On a positive note, my husband enjoyed his espresso martini and said it...
Read moreTerrible setup and service. This is right in the middle of a tiny, crowded terminal where there is not even close to enough seating (and is not super clearly separated from the terminal seating). I wasn’t going to take a seat as I wasn’t planning on ordering, but each seat had an iPad and a card swiper with the message: “Use our iPads for free and swipe here if you’d like to purchase anything.” The iPads advertise games. I took a seat and was browsing the games until a server very rudely told me I needed to leave immediately since she didn’t see me actively ordering food. I absolutely understand if an establishment wants to restrict seating to ordering customers, but then don’t advertise that you can sit down and browse their iPads “for free”!! Especially when the seating is in the middle of a terminal that has little to no open seating at any given time! Literally it would be as easy as putting a blank sticker or using sharpie to cross out this message. But don’t advertise that you can take a seat and browse for free and then train your employees to berate anyone who...
