Was over at another store picking up an order and thought I would stop for cookies. Walked and walked up to the counter as a staff member was walking away. It took the gentleman (Jose) a few minutes to realize I walked up. No biggie, he had jumped on a call but still tried to come over and assist me with my order. Shortly, another associate walked over to take over. This associate asked me what I wanted and rang me up. She was currently wearing gloves, but after she finished on the register, she changed her gloves and went to start getting my cookies. However, the gentleman came back over and was apologizing for being on the phone and started opening a bag. I let him know that it was no biggie, and before I could say something, he was picking up one of the two cookies that I ordered and placed it in a bag. I was shrieked in horror as he was wearing some black gloves that he had put on when he started his phone call. He had since not only touched his phone but also the register and several other surfaces and then proceeded to touch my cookie that I was supposed to eat.
When I explained this to him, he did apologize and refunded me for the one cookie. I do feel he should have refunded me for both out of pure inconvenience and the fact that he genuinely disregarded health and safety.
What concerns me even more is that I am pretty sure this person was in a management and / or supervisor position. I do hope he isn't training staff as he clearly needs...
Read moreGreat customer service!! Best customer service experience I have ever had at a Panera Bread. When I walked in an employee stopped what he was doing and greeted me. I ordered my food and as I was getting ready to leave that same employee stopped what he was doing (he had his hands full of dishes that he was clearing from one of the dish bins), made eye contact, thanked me, and told me to have a safe and great rest of my night. When I got home and went to eat, I found my order was incorrect. I had ordered a blueberry muffin but got a different one instead. I had ordered the Steak and Arugula sandwich with light garlic and herb cheese and light mustard horseradish but instead there was extra of both on my sandwich. I was able to get some of it off the sandwich but it was a bit of a hassle. It wouldn’t have been an issue except that both of those cause my acid reflux to act up. Read moreI always enjoyed to get my salad from this location but recently things change a lot. It’s not delayed or long hours outside. I understand what are we going through as a country but the employees attitude. I ordered a salad and set water, my friend went to a different location. So I called the store explaining my situation and the reason I can’t pick my food before 4 ( means 2 hours after I ordered). The lady that answered my was not much help but I managed to convince her of taking care of my food. I picked the food but the fruit was roten. I called the manager and her demeanor was awful her answers were aggressive and more importantly she was like. Well man you cane to get your food several hours later so it’s not my problem.
