Rivera's Tortilla Factory — Restaurant in Virginia

I came here over the weekend, (Sunday). I got my husband some food he likes that's in a container. I drove 25 minutes to this location! When I got home my husband wanted it and it was very bad! It smelled, clearly the food was old. He could've gotten food poisoning! I returned yesterday just to get tortillas and I told the guy the food was bad and that had gotten over the weekend, he said "Oh sorry, it was made either Friday or Saturday" he didn't offer a discount, a refund, nothing. This store sells food that expires! The kitchen is always close! The ladies making the tortillas look very dirty and sweating....

Attempted to order take via phone and said they would need to take payment over the phone. I was fine with this until they starting writing my card number down on a piece of paper. I was asked to provide it again because they missed the last 3 digits. I told that i would pay when I get there cuz I did not want my credit info laying around. The person taking the order quickly got irate and refuse to take my order over the phone. They went on a tangent about people not picking up food and they got stuck footing the bill....

They have a great operation going on and are tucked right in next to the highway. Accessibility is a problem because you have to go the long way around to get to it, but fresh tortillas are worth it. Currently they do seem to cater to a strongly Spanish speaking clientele, but quality food is quality food, and I'm willing to work through a language barrier to share a great experience. Their website needs work, and prices are obviously more expensive,...
