If you don’t know, my timeline is filled with FOOD (and an occasional twerk)!! So when I saw that this taco spot had a grilled cheese Birria sandwich, I returned!! Yep…I reviewed them before. Items Reviewed: Their Flamin Crusted Poppers (Hot Cheeto crusted jalapeño poppers, with Mexican cheese $9).STAMP!! Spicy HOT, cheesy, crunchy, YES!!

The Pollo Taco (with grilled chicken, avocado salsa, onion, cilantro, & radish $3.50). STAMP!! Fresh, well seasoned, delicious!!

Their Specialty Tacos- The Blackened Salmon Taco (with charred corn relish, Queso fresco, cilantro, & avocado salsa $4.50). STAMP!! Plentiful, hearty, scrumptious!!

The Smash Burger Taco (with a beef patty, special sauce, pickles, lto, & cheese $4.50). LIKE THAT! A Big Mac on a tortilla!

Their Birria Grilled Cheese (with beef Birria, cheese, bacon, & consumé $12). STAMP!! GET THIS!! Trust me!! That’s it.

Their Fountain Drinks (Pineapple Papaya, Mango Lemonade, & Cucumber Lime $3 a cup). STAMP!! All of these HIT!! . Customer Service: On Point!! . Online Navigation: Easy . Parking: Rough . I must say, this place has truly become one of my favorite spots as well. All of the Taco Rock locations are fantastic and offer a memorable dining experience. The Mexican pizza they serve is absolutely to die for, with its mouthwatering combination of flavors that will leave you craving for more.

The Mexican pizza at Taco Rock is a true culinary masterpiece. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are packed with authentic Mexican flavors. Every bite is a burst of deliciousness, with a delightful balance of spices and savory ingredients. It's clear that Taco Rock uses high-quality ingredients, as the freshness and taste are evident in every slice.

But that's not all this place has to offer. The cactus margarita with the baby corona is a refreshing and unique drink option that pairs perfectly with their flavorful dishes. While staying in DC, this was some of the best food I had. My daughter and I were having trouble finding tacos with ground beef instead of shredded. I know shredded is "traditional" but that is irrelevant to me. Looked around on the internet and stumbled upon this gem. I got several traditional tacos and my daughter got a cheese quesadilla. The tacos were delicious, just the right amount of spice but not too overwhelming. Their fountain drinks (Stubb's) are insanely delicious. (As a side note, make sure you test the spiciness of the sauces before you jump right in. My daughter was knocked on her butt because she wasn't prepared)

As for service, they were wonderful. They helped this illiterate man (me) navigate the computer menu 😂 After we sat down, they brought my wallet over to me which I had left on the counter, totally saving our trip. The only thing I might critique is the atmosphere. It's pretty loud (but hey, it's called Taco rock, what do you expect 🤔😁) The excessive volume was also likely due to the 20-plus people screaming and see me to have what looked like a family reunion.

But I would definitely advise you to eat here. It was one of the places I wish we had gone to multiple times when we were in DC. With so many places to choose from,...
