Sorry not sorry. I really loved this place. Ive been going since I was a kid. At one point, they had a hidden secret. The cook at the time put out one heck of a ribeye. That kept me and a handful of my friends going for years. At some point that ribeye wasn't what it was. Putting that behind me, for my mother's birthday day, I decided to take her there for lunch. We showed up minutes before the door was unlocked. Just like everyone else, we stood there and conversated til we heard the noise of the bolt lock tumbling to the unlocked position. We where created and sat, promptly. We soon discovered that the hostes is now a server . (Not her fault). She presented the menus and asked what we wanted to drink? Its mom's bday and she loves a good tequila sunrise, so yes I figured it's close enough to noon so I'll order her one. Welp....no bartender. I'm just alittle disappointed along with thinking, Google can help if you really wanted, but ok. Here's where I'm putting it all out. -Upon entry, I figured no one was at work early. Floor where filthy from the night before. -Bathroom trash was full and the floors where nasty. -roten lemon in the hallway of the bathroom. -Hostest taking orders. Not taking notes. Both our meals where crossed ordered leaving us with in correct orders. No help for the hottest. She was left out to dry. No pre prep. Bread was just going in the oven. No fresh pepper. -No fresh Parmesan. -Alot of this could have been handled if management was present. Ending...it seams to me that owners or and management doesn't care about first and last impressions. There is only a few Italian joints in town and being lazy with a small mom and pop restaurant its a shame to see this place fail. I miss when this place cared about thier reputation. The pasta is been on point, sauces...on point, pizza...great but and I mean but....with out being compassionate and responsible, I feel we are looking at a stapple in our town turn into another washed up building.

Read moreWhat can I say. The food presented well when it came to the table. It was a good wait (20min) but probably cause we came early and I decided to order the Trio. Fettucini probably was the most bland tasting I have ever had at any Italian restaurant and probably cause I usually make this myself. So let’s take a moment and talk about the staff, the male waiter who served us was good, checked up frequently and filled my iced tea twice. However the blonde server was total polar opposite was not welcoming asked how many items were we taking home, asked for three al to go our pizza lasagna and garlic bread. She came back put it on the table and walked away no her you go, just dump and run as if we had the plague. Our male server came by to drop off our receipt where I placed my card. About 10min goes by and Ms Personality says “are you done” I just replied yes. At this point being from the industry we usually start our tip practice at 30% however 12% is what they got from us during our visit, yeah it maybe generous but when you manage restaurants you wonder why she is employed and it’s usually isolated to that one individual and not reflective of the rest of the team. For this we will not come back or cater from them ever. Hopefully someone in management will identify and provide some feedback as one person can affect the entire team. On a side note the pizza in the box is the Togo pizza box she gave us after I said I don’t think it will fit, she said it’s not a large. Bad service we fold the edges to make it fit in the box to take home. To the young blonde server I hope this message gets through to you as I’m thinking you’re just having a...
Read moreMy sister decided on coming here for lunch. We've never been here and decided to give it a try. When we first stepped inside, we were surprised to see how dark it was. Didn't seem like a typical Tuesday afternoon lunch atmosphere but I guess some people like eating in the dark. We were seated on a table and asked if we'd like drinks, so I ordered a coffee. Shortly after, my coffee arrives with a side of creamer. After adding a little creamer and sugar to my coffee, I took a sip only to realize it was ice cold. I called our waiter over and asked him if their coffee machine was off since their coffee was cold. He apologized and took my coffee away only to return a few minutes later to tell me their coffee machine was broken "but here's some hot coffee." It was obvious it was the same cup of coffee (just microwaved scolding hot) he took from me seeing as it still had my cream and sugar in it. Anyways, me and my sister proceeded to order our lunch. With my order the waiter asked if I'd like their side of different pastas or soup. I opted for the soup. After we ate our meals, our bills were brought out and much to my surprise, I was charged $3 for the microwaved coffee and $9 for the "side" of soup, along with the bill for my meal. First off, why call it a "side" if you're going to get charged for it as an entree, next who charges for cold coffee they had to microwave? Seriously is it worth losing customers over this stuff? I won't be returning to...
