Hinck's Turkey Farm — Restaurant in Wall Township

Have been coming here for years I live in NY but when I'm in the area I always stop in for premade foods to take home and always loved this place until today I went and the farm next door was crowded so I was a bit shocked that the store was empty well what I experience and what I have read others experience I understand why people won't waste their time or money here. I went in found a few things in the fridge and freezers that I wanted and that was it. I walked to the registers there was a woman helping someone ahead of me and I waited my turn as soon as she completed the check out for the woman ahead of me I stepped forward she looked at me said nothing and walked away mentioning something about register receipts to her coworker theee were 3 woman behind the counter none of them doing anything there was a young man who was "someone's nephew" that they all gushed over going above and beyond helping him as I stood there waiting he was still browsing the hot foods not ready to pay but apparently all 3 woman were so busy with him then he's done walks over to the registers and the woman that totally walked away from me says I'll ring u up here at the register to my right I was too shocked to even speak....finally as they are gushing over this young man asking him what else they can do for him and me standing there being ignored a woman asked if I was being helped I said no but was just about to walk out because of how rude they are. Where oh where do I begin? Let's start with SERVICE: There is nothing lower than a one star rating and that's a pity, so, ZERO stars. Approaching the counter to order our take out dinner order for three, I came face to face with possibly one of the rudest, impatient, sour pussed serving employees I have ever encountered. If she had been my employee, she would have been fired on the spot and possibly, made to make her way to her car on hands and knees through the disgusting goat petting compound next door AND charge her $6.00 to do so. FOOD: Let's break this down; 2lbs.Turkey: or shall I say turkey roll; Sliced, dry (I hate dry bird) and all white meat. STUFFING: The last time I saw stuffing like this was being slung to James Cagney and his fellow inmates in the prison dinning hall scene from "White Heat". SWEET POTATOES: Fair at best. MAC AND CHEESE: Very good. POTATO PANCAKES: Eatable but again, dry. PUMPKIN PIE: Now, I like pumpkin pie, I really do, and I know everyone makes a slightly different pie but, theirs had this odd after taste like someone had mixed the dough with after shave still on their hands. Bought the turkey dinner (bland) to take home on 1/14/25 and @ 3am BAM food poisoning with 6 hours of pain. I did not eat anywhere else. It took a couple of days to work its way out. Grateful I didn’t eat much of it because it didn’t TASTE right except for the vegetables. I noted one reviewer say the ladies at the counter were rude and I witnessed one counter lady with brown hair, hairnet on and sweaty, be very rude to a customer making him uncomfortable. I would use the word snarky. Some reviewers say tasty turkey. If tasty is bland dry turkey, go for it. I wonder if the GLOWING reviewers are owner family/friends/coworkers because who can swallow bland dry turkey? Or, maybe you happen to get fresh at the moment? The sit in area rug did look dirty as another reviewer mentioned. I also noted other reviewers post he/she have become ill at this place. 🤮. Diners beware because who can swallow disgust.
