McDonald's — Restaurant in Walla Walla

When I was in there the other day there was a lot of confusion at the front counter and I ended up getting sidestepped and had to wait an additional couple of minutes because the counter person waited on the wrong person inside the restaurant it just didn't seem clean there's just a kind of a smell it wasn't the food but it was just kind of a smell like it just wasn't clean and after just over 5 minutes waiting for my food which I was ordering to go and for once they got my hamburger done right but I'm not going to be in there very much anymore it just doesn't seem like the meat McDonald's that I went into as a kid here in Walla Walla there's a lot of chaos which you would think that the manager with nip in the butt now let's get down to the food yes I know that the minimum wage in Washington went up I want to throw that in you guys think you have the best deals in food on the market today will you don't I have started going back into Burger King and my favorite plac and a&w instead of McDonald's the quarter pounder hamburger has went down in size which is a big complaint because I can go to A&W and get a two cheeseburger meal with fries and drink for just over 6 bucks and if you go to Burger King at least with them their burgers are worth paying for and they went to a new fry and those are great I hope this little blog gets to McDonald's corporate there are some of us young and old senior citizens it don't have all the money in the world and we would like a place to sit down instead of going all the way back to her seat and then having to come back up to the counter and get our food again at least you could do is have a runner just a person that is on standby that if you get busy that person can take the food out to the customers during their busiest times say between 10:30 and 1 p.m. And then at night say 4:30 to 7 p.m. But remember that person cannot be on the register if it's going to work at one time I worked for McDonald's here in Walla Walla I started at the Pasco store back in the mid-90s came back to Walla Walla worked at the 9th Street McDonald's Isaac Street McDonald's across from Albertsons and I also got to spend about a week in the Milton-Freewater McDonald's when it first opened there was a lot of Chaos when I was there too management was back in the kitchen trying to get everybody to get it together I guess what I'm trying to say is is this I wish you guys would get to know all of your customers cuz that's how I was trained and I don't mind telling you and I'm going to Pat myself on the back because we had the best team the best store manager and the best management team there ever was and unfortunately I don't think you're ever going to get another team like we had again I hope someone up the corporate ladder like I believe his name is Scott Adams who owns or did own the stores and can send this to...

We live ~ 1/2 mile from this location and normally stop -n 5-6 times a month as it's quick on our route to my Dr. offices. But due to the following, we've vowed to NEVER return unless things change A LOT. Last week on our way home we pulled into the drive-up to grab a quick meal for the 3 of us.My wife began her order, telling them that she wanted several items from their 2 for $2.00 menu choices. The clerk said "we do'nt participate in those promotions." My wife replied that it was advertised as such on their reader board and as such they should participate. At that point the clerk actually got rude and replied. that "we're going to take care of the reader board ad tomorrow, is their anything else we can get you?". My wife said "don't bother, I'll drive across town to Burger King, they honor their 4 for $5.00 prices and the food's better anyway." I read recently that McDonald's at corporate is concerned about their profidown-turn last quarter, partially blaming BK, and deciding how to recover.. I say, improve your food quality, honor your advertising, and train your help in customer service. The clerk's response should have instead of rudely rplying they don't participate , sold the order and said Thank -you, then made sure advertising was corrected the next day. Ordered a big Mac meal add ketchup. I got home and the idiot who made the hamburger added at least 3/4 cup of ketchup. The box had about a half inch of ketchup in it. The whole hamburger was ruined. I tried to remove some of the ketchup but when I picked up the hamburger, it completely crumbled apart from being so soggy with ketchup pouring out everywhere. This was intentional. Destroying someone's food is personal and I am appalled someone would have the audacity to do this to a complete stranger's food. Probably because they were having a bad day or they were pissed that I ordered ketchup on a big Mac and they probably had to make it twice which is why I waited for quite a long time at the pickup window, which is probably what made them mad so they destroyed my food. This is not ok! Edit: notice how none of the negative reviews received a response from the owner or manager? They do not care how horrible their franchise is being operated.
