Drew was an amazing host and so knowledgeable about his wine making process. Taking the time to explain how he makes the wine, the regions where the grapes are grown, and reasonings behind the styles of wines was so intriguing and made for an informative, yet enjoyable wine tasting experience. I tasted many wines and didn't find a single one I wouldn't take home (ended up taking home 5 bottles in our party and hopped on as a new wine club member!). I fell in love with Moonbase for a variety of reasons including the wine. We made reservations, were warmly greeted and our table set up. Darling modern tasting room in downtown WW. The tasting room manager was friendly, very informative and engaged us in the wine. We also got to meet Drew the owner and winemaker. This was our first stop on our first trip to Walla Walla, and it was a great way to kick off the long weekend. The winemaker himself wasn't in but his very nice mother (in-law?) was on hand to welcome us in and pour a couple of tastings.
