Picked up a bottle of their whiskey 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it as a neat drink. Flash forward to now, I finally finished the bottle and did not want to be out of it, so I ordered the same bottle from them. $85 after shipping felt pretty expensive compared to what I paid two years ago but I thought, hey itās good so Iāll just pay it. The new bottle no longer has the traditional whiskey cork and instead now has a cheap plastic cork that takes away from the old timey appeal and makes it feel cheap. But whatās worse is that the whiskey tastes 100% different than the bottle I enjoyed. No longer smooth and flavorful. It just tastes odd. Thereās a unique flavor to it that I havenāt experienced with any other whiskeys that I canāt put my finger on what it is, buts itās not good.
