I recently visited the newly opened Highwire coffee shop, and I have to say, I’m absolutely thrilled with the experience! From the moment you walk in, the esthetically pleasing shared space immediately sets a warm and welcoming tone. It’s the kind of place where you can definitely get that photo shot!

The staff at Highwire are genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. They’re passionate about their craft, and it shows in every cup they serve. Speaking of which, the coffee is exceptional—each drink is expertly prepared, whether you’re in the mood for a rich espresso or a perfectly brewed iced coffee.

The drink and pastry options are another highlight. The selection is both delicious and diverse, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Every bite and sip is a testament to the care and quality that goes into everything they offer.

I am beyond thrilled to have this gem of a coffee shop right at the Walnut Creek BART station!

since they opened this location, it has become my go-to for a much-needed caffeine fix, and let me tell you, it’s been nothing short of a delight. I've sampled a few drinks so far—the iced mocha, iced vanilla latte, and the special Holliday mocha is SO good.

The pastries are the perfect partners for my morning brew—whether it’s the buttery croissant, the blueberry muffin, the blueberry danish, or a pastry intriguingly called a "queen." Each bite has made my mornings just a little brighter.

The real stars here, though, are the folks behind the counter. Nick, Christian, and Kiara—every one of them has been warm, welcoming, and just plain awesome. Their presence genuinely enhances the experience. Castle, we miss you man!

When I worked in Berkeley, this was one of my favorite coffee shops to visit, their coffee quality is tremendous. They take their art seriously and they produce great drinks.

This is a new location for the company and it is unintentionally hidden well. The windows facing BART and the passenger loading zone have no signage at all (*hint-hint Highwire) but if you can find them, it’s well worth it.

This location is missing a vibe but that will probably come with time. It is just stark white and quiet inside but they more than make up for it with awesome coffee and kind people. Castle is a kind and talented barista, so shout...
