I hope people would find this review. I'm so sad to see this business getting negative reviews. As a customer who has been going to Third Culture Bakery for over a year now I can tell you they are the sweetest people I know.
For those people who are leaving one star reviews just solely based on what someone has said on social media platform I hope they realize what they are doing is somewhat evil. Have you really been to that business? I clicked on one of those negative review only to find that person leaves one star review for every business. If anyone really had an issue with a local business like Third Culture Bakery, I wish they would just talk to the owners and bring it up to their attention instead of not saying anything and wait until they get home and just start bashing on business and create an army to go leave negative reviews.
This bakery is owned by two very sweet couple and I know how much work and swear went into creating this business. By all means what people are doing on social media right now is hate. You all be ashamed to do that to a small business. If you don't like something don't go.
If what they claim is true I would have asked for a manager and asked. I would never ever come home sit behind a computer screen and tell ppl to go leave bad reviews.
I would continue to support this business because they make awesome mochi muffins and I believe in them.
Even if they have done something "wrong" they don't deserve this kind of hate. They didn't hurt anybody they didn't kill anybody nobody got sick from their food.
Ppl make mistakes and what matters is we all learn from our experiences and mistakes.
If you are feeling good because a local business goes down from your keyboard warrior power of negative reviews... you need to go find better happiness in your life.
Santa for sure is not bringing...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Walnut Creek location of Third Culture Bakery, and it did not disappoint! As a long-time fan and customer of the awesome Berkeley location, I was excited to see how this new spot would measure up, and it exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I approached the bakery, the cool window signage caught my eye. The colorful and inviting holographic design is a warm welcome that perfectly encapsulates the bakery's commitment to aesthetics and attention to detail. It totally sets the tone for the delightful experience that awaits inside.
Once inside, I was thrilled to find all the classic treats that I’ve come to love over the years. The mochi muffins, a variety of flavors of mochi donuts, and even mochi waffles were all available, and made it really hard to choose what to get. And of course everything is gluten free! I couldn’t resist indulging in a refreshing matcha sparkler, which was the perfect complement to my sweet treats.
I loved exploring the adorable merchandise on display, which adds a fun touch to the overall experience. After picking out my goodies, I settled into their outdoor seating and relaxed under the sun.
Third Culture Bakery's Walnut Creek location is absolutely delightful. The combination of yummy gluten free treats, thoughtful design, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I can’t wait to return and indulge in more of their amazing offerings! Highly...
Read moreUpdate: I got three flavors today: ube-coconut, Pandan, and Yuzu Lemon. I really liked the Pandan they really captured that flavor onto the donut very well. I also picked up a couple more things on the menu. The banana mochi muffin bread and pumpkin mochi muffin, definitely recommended. Looks like they have updated added new mochi flavors and drinks to the menu.
It’s my first time trying Third Culture and apparently they have been here for a month. They also have another store located in Berkeley. This one is located in Walnut Creek in a small shopping center. Not much parking but there is a parking lot.
It was great to meet the owners Sam and Wenter, who gave us a history of how Third Culture came to be. I really liked the vibe they try to create with the store. From the color of the windows to the music they play. The store is quite small but cute, no seating inside. It's basically a store front, counter-serve bakery. They have several items for sale that you can take home with you.
The Mochi donuts are very tasty, not too sweet and so many flavors to chose from. They also have Mochi muffins and Macha teas and coffee. I got the Ube, Mango, Macha, Chocolate and Strawberry Mochi donut; Also got the original and pumpkin Mochi muffin, last but not least we got Macha Tea and Caramel Coffee.
Service: awesome service! Owner and staff were friendly.
Price: I thought donuts and muffins were a bit pricey for the size of it. But the taste makes up...
