McDonald's — Restaurant in Wapakoneta

If I could give it a Zero star I would. We have been coming to this location since we moved here 2 months ago and they always seem to mess something up. However this time 7/16/2025 at 3:45pm we went through the drive through my b Husband ordered a double hamburger with no bun ONLY Pickles and onions and repeatedly said he wanted nothing but pickles and onions and the 2 patties. When we got our food there was lettuce all over the place. When my husband took it back in to have it fixed the Manager started yelling at him telling him that if he got no bun he HAD to get lettuce because that’s just how it comes. My husband has been ordering a plain chicken sandwich and a double hamburger no bun ONLY pickles and onions 3 times a week for the last 2 months and it has never come with lettuce. But what really got me was the fact that the manager was yelling at him in front of other customers and children and because my husband wasn’t backing down and just wanted his food that WE PAID FOR to be correct she threw the container across the counter and walked away. This is not good customer service and this lady is not the right person to have in charge working with the public. I am a general manager of a restaurant and I wouldnt dare speak the way she does. There is a thing called common courtesy and fake it till you make it. I dont care if your having the worse day ever do not take it out on the people who pay your paycheck. McDonald's continues their disregard for customers. Stopped in to get a beverage while driving through. We were next in line to order at the counter. I hate kiosk ordering so I go to the counter. I'd rather interact with a person than a piece of electronics.

As we walked to the counter someone told the person that was going to take our order that she needed to get back in the kitchen and that customers in the dining room should use the kiosk. The lady that was going to take our order even rolled her eyes at this command from someone who must have been her superior who has no regard for customer convenience.

As we stood at the counter waiting for someone to take our order the bossy lady told us that if we wanted to order we needed to do it at the kiosk. We were, quite literally, seconds from giving our orders. It would have been one thing if the bossy lady would have said "as soon as your line of customers is done you'll need to go back to the kitchen" (we were the last customers in line). To rudely pull the order take away, though....not classy, Mickey D's. Not classy.

Nope.

With that we turned and left the restaurant and went elsewhere to get our food.

McDonald's doesn't care if they lose one order and doesn't care about the customer.

Ordered food about 10:20pm after working all day. I normally don't eat here,but not much open at this time of night. Got pulled forward saying they were waiting on fresh bacon. After getting our food we realized it was all wrong besides the one sandwich I ordered. Had to go back threw the drive threw due to the inside being closed. Called them to have them come to the window to look at the food that was clearly wrong but tags on them were correct. The mc chicken was only bacon and we got it with only ketchup. The bacon cheeseburger had one little scrap of bacon on it and the fries were cold! The manager said there was only one person in the kitchen so I asked if they could read? Seeing how the tags on the food were right but clearly the food was made wrong. Was then told I didn't need to disrespect her employees. After waiting to get the food corrected the bacon we added to the mc chicken and paid 1.89 to add was only 2 tiny scrap peices that clearly were not fresh. I let it go and left. After getting home and biting into my sandwich (the only one that didn't need to be remade) it was raw in the middle and I couldn't even eat it. Threw it all away! Completely disgusted I just spent almost 20 dollars on food and waited over 20 minutes for it yet still didn't get to eat it! I'm in the food industry myself and I get mistakes happen. But this...
