Now, despite reading unsavory comments prior to my visit, we came in with exceedingly low expectations, but very high optimism. The staff did not disappoint, as you can tell by the three star rating. Entering the establishment, we were greeted by a flannel clad chap, who was presumably an employee. The lad claimed that he would wait on us and get us our drinks, but proceeded to tell us he needed to leave for a delivery; a good start to an entertaining night. As we were the only people in the restaurant, we were allowed to choose any seat. We chose a booth on the opposite side of the salad bar, so we would have a good view of the sweet sweet action. As we settled in for the long haul, we were pleasantly surprised by a young man who awkwardly attempted to take our drink order (for the second time). Only a minute past and we had our ice cold beverages. The awkwardness continued, as we were met with an absent stare as we tried to place our order, which must have been in Chinese, or some other foreign language. The young man received our order and retreated to the kitchen as we sat with crossed fingers that our order was taken accurately. We waited for maybe 15 minutes while further reading the "amusing" reviews. After maybe five minutes more, the flannel clad "waiter" started yelling over the counter at one the employees. We stopped reading reviews and listened to the threats and vulgarities abound. It was at this moment we realized that we made the correct choice. We came for the food, and stayed for the show. We were even more surprised when the man in flannel returned to our table with the correct pizza we ordered and an apology. He explained to us that he yelled because he did not realize we were still there. He gave us a 50% discount on our bill because of the outburst that we had witnessed, little did he know that we would have payed twice as much if an actual fight broke out. The pizza was hot, unlike most reviews would state, but when they say "thin and crispy" they take it to the next level. After we scavenged silverware from other unused tables, we dined in silence, as we were the only patrons. We would like to thank the local guides and/or other reviewers for steering us in this direction. If you set your expectations low you will never be disappointed! Service: poor waited awhile to pay so did others. The phone was ringing off the hook kind of annoying to be honest, at one point in time some lady came out and unhooked the cord after she kept silencing it few times before hand.
Greeted: yes by a lady boxing up pizzas she said hello to everyone that was coming and told us all same line we will be right with you Best she could probably do with how busy it was. At first thought she was only one there.
Wait time: inside store about 20 mins, they was busy but only seen one person working but heard other voices yelling inside somewhere after few minutes being there. The lady boxing up food repeated her self multiple times that people were in lobby and needed help.
Drive thru: backed up so went inside I was 4th car. Line didnât move for probably 5-10 minutes.
Cleanliness: lobby was clean, bathroom clean, outside clean, kitchen area wasnât the best things were being kicked around on floor.
Wasnât sure who was who in there, like who the cook was who manager was, who did what in their. After watching and listening, I realized there was only one active person that I observed that was trying to hold things together to make things smooth out and go faster. Heard a few times some reminders being given and manners being said from the one worker. She always said please or thank you to Iâm assuming was the person making the food. I observed negatively a lot of yelling and curse words being used. By time I got my food two employees brought me it one was vaping as she walked it up to me then stuck it in her mouth. The vape that is. I was kind of shocked when I seen that. Iâm currently staying in town again for work at local hotel over the over pass, I usually order every Friday Iâm in town as itâs a ritual.    Read moreThis experience was incredible. First we had a waitress that seemed embarrassed to be serving us and didn't listen while we ordered. When we asked for a specific pizza she tried to make us feel foolish for not selecting their buffet. The buffet and people with their hands in it were ... gross.
I ordered triple cheese and received a light sprinkling of cheese. The waitress wouldn't make eye contact with either of us. We clearly wrote in an appropriate tip and left.
We are from MI and this is on Ohio. We get our bank report and they overcharged us 3 or 4 dollars on the tip. Seems pretty clear we were pick pocketed those minor funds by a dishonest wait staff.
We called in to explain the issue and were turned away the first two time: "No manager here! Call back some other time."
Then we get a manager on the line with our third call in to the joint. They do not seem the least bit suprised. Must happen all the time. They say they need to get to a higher level of manager who must in turn get in touch with a higher level 'corporate' manager ro take care of something so difficult as returning our stolen 3-4 dollars.
We are instructed to call back when they can set that up. We call in agon and provide the necessary 'details' to get our redund. We are told that we will receive confirmation by call in the next few days. Definitely before Wednesday.
We call Thursday. It has bow been three weeks since we had this happen...
The staff gets me a manager that also feels he has no authority or responsibility. He calls up the manager we spoke with before and she says its probably all good. The manager seems equally unenthused or suprised by this theft. In fact, he makes a joke of the idea that we would even care to want our few dollars back. "This is just about 3 or 4 dollars, thats it..."
The charge is still unresolved.
I would recommend avoiding this place. I really hope no one else is ever treated this way as a resturant customer....
