⭐ One-Star Review: “Italian” in Name Only There’s a new Italian restaurant in town — and after my visit, I’ll be using the word “Italian” very loosely. I ordered their so-called lasagna, and for an extra $1.99 you can add a salad. I asked for the Greek salad, but only after the waitress brought out our plates did I learn that the Greek option apparently wasn’t available. Communication, folks — it’s important. The meal started with garlic rolls. They were… fine. Not great, not terrible, just fine. Then came the main event: the lasagna. Except, calling it “lasagna” is generous. There were no layers to speak of — just thick, overcooked noodles tossed together with cheese and hamburger. Yes, hamburger. Not Italian sausage, not seasoned ground beef — plain old hamburger. The flavor? Practically nonexistent. If there was garlic involved, it must’ve taken the night off. The noodles were mushy, and honestly, I’ve had Mountain House freeze-dried lasagna on a camping trip that tasted better. I shared my disappointment with the waitress, and I think even the owner. The owner told me, “It’s our best seller.” Well, if that’s true, then we must have a lot of people in town who’ve never tasted real Italian food. Bottom line: I won’t be going back.

Did a take out order this afternoon for Shrimp Scampi & Cesar Salad. The meal was the most transcendent, divinely scrumptious food I've ever had! Plump juicy Shrimp. Crunchy croutons! The meal was So Good! Definitely will be returning for more!

All pasta dishes were very oily and sauces shorted of cream, the pink/blush sauce, was not blush. Alfredo was bland, picata was bland, the pasta (which I'm unsure if made fresh or not) was all over cooked, and the chicken parm was spongey. The appetizers came out after the entrees, consisting of a meatball trio so soft you could spread it like jam, and seafood stuffed mushrooms with no detectable seafood. New place, so I get hiccups, but it was enough to not make it a...

This place is the most authentic Italian you can find outside of Kansas City! It was their first weekend opening and they were timely, professional and genuinely friendly. I had the shrimp and lobster ravioli, my husband had the lasagna and they were both masterpieces! And don't get me started on the bread! Definitely ask for the olive oil, there's fresh garlic and herbs soaking in it. So flavorful!...
