First of all I have to say I’m a huge fan and supporter of Chick-fil-A. I have eaten at countless Chick-fil-A restaurants around the USA and even have the privilege of working directly with the corporate headquarters several years ago. All of that being said I have to say I just had the worst Chick-fil-A experience to date. A departure from the usual high-quality service experience at almost every other chick-fil-A restaurant I have visited around the USA. My visit took place on August 8, 2018 @ 8:09 PM. The visit with an abrupt order taking at the speaker. The team member seemed a bit grouchy and did not use common courtesy words like thank you, your welcome etc through the entire transaction. I then tried to use my app on my phone to pay and get reward credit and was told “you can’t use that our scanner is broken, you got to pay another way” i then asked if I could sign on line and enter my paper receipt and was told“ I don’t know about that”. If that were not enough, I paid for a large ice tea, received a small and pulled away to realize there were no spoons in the bag for my wife and I to eat out 2 bowls of soup. It seems as though the usual Chick-fil-A over the top customer service was non-existent. If this were my first Chick-Fil-A experience I would most likely never return again. Hopefully this employee and others will get retrained and thrive...
Read moreUPDATE to my 10/22 post... It's been a week and I still haven't heard back from the manager, or anyone else for that matter. I'll still eat there personally, but I won't be placing any more large orders.
I opted to pick up my online order because it was a $35 savings on a $110 order verses having it delivered. That being said, I was told that they "would start working on the order once I had arrived", despite it having been paid for by credit card in advance. When I arrived, I let person at the counter know that there were no options to order more than 2 packs of sauces, so I would be needing a variety to go with my 10 sandwiches, 7 orders of fries and a 30 piece platter of nuggets. She even called back to kitchen to let them know to pack it with my order. Suffices to say as I set up for my meeting, there wasn't 1 sauce packaged in any of the bags. Not 1 ketchup, a mayo... NOTHING. It was dry sandwiches, nuggets and fries for everyone. Upon discovering the omission, I immediately called the store to see if something could be done. That was at 2:30 PM. I could only reach voice mail and I tried all options. It is now the following morning and I have yet to receive a return call. I'll update this post if I ever hear back...I'm not holding my breath. Read moreI've always had good experiences at this location. HOWEVER, in places a mobile order few days ago and they messed up my order. So I go inside to let them know, cheese is supossed to be on here(the new maple bacon). I ordered it with no bacon, no lettuce. So she takes it to the back. Brings it back to me. Same exact way it was when I gave it to her. So I corrected her again. She took it back and gave it to me with YELLOW AMERICAN cheese. I corrected her again and show her my receipt, and remind her that it comes with pepper jack. She goes back again. THIS TIME she says, "I'm bout ready to quit my job. This dont make any sense". Now this place was FULL of young black ppl(I'm not racist, I'm black, just stateing the facts). 1 older white lady there, an elite walking around behind the counter sipping a soda. No one was outside talking orders and from my time in drive thru to coming inside and getting my order fixed took 45min.so back to my order...
