Juicy Seafood Cleveland - Harvard Park — Restaurant in Warrensville Heights

Well, I went there this evening with my boyfriend for my birthday. We all knew what we wanted. We got the red and blue boil for two and ordered an extra cluster of crab legs in the crab legs that we received in the boil before I added an extra we’re kind of on the small side. Ended up ordering an extra cluster, which are two clusters more towards our dinner to be full. My boyfriend had a soda and I had a fruit punch our server was extremely delinquent. She never came and refilled the beverages. Oh, I’m sorry she filled my boyfriends beverage but not mine at all, she forgot the third cluster that we ordered probably waited over a half an hour when she came to the table. I thought she was going to offer me a refill on my fruit punch that has been getting watered over minute by minute. However, I did ask her at that moment when are crab legs were coming out that we had ordered over a half hour ago and she stated to me. Oh I’m so sorry man I’m so sorry I’m so sorry and then walked away. When she came back to the table, she barely shook the bag that has all the spices and juice in it. And just put the bag on the table. She did not put it in the middle in the holder that our food came with I have never ever had a server, put the boil bag on the table ever in my life at juicy . When she cleared off our table, the bucket that they give you to put the shells in she just put it on the table next-door to ours and never took it in the back. It’s like you just want to hit your head against a brick wall where the heck is the Customer Service wet in these restaurants? And then she thought she was doing us a favor by offering me a 10% discount on my check and $15 gift card That was called the birthday club. That’s what they offer on their birthday club. I’m so so glad that I have this knowledge going into the dinner because from her delinquency, her manager did not even take off anything off of our bill like she said they would. Substandard service at this restaurant Lanna was her name…. How do you come to a table with two guests and not offer both people at the table a new beverage??? Blows my mind and these people think that they deserve were the third entitled to a decent tip? I told my boyfriend this evening that it’s time to pick a better seafood restaurant to go to going forward. Very disappointed tonight and one more thing… I heard them sing to a table further down the happy birthday thing, and I never got any singing at my table, how is that possible? Or why did that not happen??? Everybody’s birthday is important. And should be observed. The music in the background was miserable. I felt like I was at a Park Party and it was really loud. I don’t know why they don’t ask customers would you like to be seated in the bar area or into the regular restaurant? I think I would’ve preferred the regular restaurant. First I want to say the food is wonderful and I was hoping it made up for the overall bad experience. Beware menu does state no refund on food or drink. So if the drink taste like kerosene your serve might be amazing enough to give you a sprite to chase it but it's not coming off your bill.

Our group had a reservation placed one month in advance bc it was a large group of 18. The ppl who made the reservation even verified it . We waited 2 hours to even be sat for our RESERVATION. we were not walk in nor call ahead. As waiting the lead of the group asked for management for atleast information of why the wait. We got a glorified hostess who said 15 min . Once finally seated we waited almost 30 min for our server to come to our grumpy table. Ju ju was amazing. Apologized offered if we were ready to, she would take our entire order and get things moving for us. Management never stepped in to check in , offer, or simply apologize for the wait, or explain why. They avoided the situation and the table . At very end after checks were delivered the glorified manage "Mandy" brought two gift cards for the lead and a birthday boy we were celebrating to make up. She did not say anything other than this is for you while basically throwing them at them and they were worth less the $50 COMBINED. She did not understand why she was then asked for again. The lead simple wanted validation of how wrong the entire evening was. Finally after 6 hours of being at this restaurant she got another manager to assist to do nothing. We arrived for reservations at 6:30 pm and left at 12pm and this was not bc we were taking up a table and enjoying our time.

I'll paint the picture....6:30pm reservation for 15. Seated at 8:45pm. Server was nice. Didn't get a beverage until 9:15pm. The Hostess Mandy was of very little help during our wait. We requested to speak with the manager only to find out that Mandy is the manager!!!!!! She informed us that the table we were waiting for was being occupied by another party. They were literally taking family pictures. Instead of management asking them to leave so they could clean the tables and seat us, Mandy allowed them to continue to take pictures and congregate for another HOUR!!!!!! Our server Juju was amazing!!!!!! The kitchen also did an amazing job as the food was delicious. Mandy on the other hand should learn to run the business a bit better. We had a party of 15 people who spent well over $1000 Mandy decided that a good way to rectify the situation was to give 1 person a $25 gift card and another person a $15 gift card. Will I come back? NO!!! I can get a good seafood bag with no wait somewhere else.

But wait there's more!!!! After trying to talk to Mandy and the other manager about making this situation right. The cooks, Mandy and the other manager had to team meeting with the servers in a very unprofessional manner. They said a few choice words about us and decided to call the police on us. After a 20 minute conversation with management, Warrensville Police department then told us it would be a misdemeanor if the bill wasn't paid. We paid the bill and found our server to make sure she got the tip she deserved. The other servers were sitting around us watching our every move along with the 2 police officers.
