Update: 5 months later…. This is officially the worst Chipotle my wife and I have ever been to. We continue to give them chances to support area businesses and because we like Chipotle (as a whole). Since my initial post we have gone back 4 times. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We have gone back something has been missing. Fortunately we understand the employees cannot actually read a ticket and check before leaving but honestly, how hard is it to read down a ticket, see a bag of chips listed and put said chips in a bag. Not to mention they also have been so poor in customer service to my wife each time… I think we will now drive further to go to Moe’s. This branch deserves 0 stars.
I waited… thinking it was just a bad night for them… then it happened again… and again, and again…. Tonight marked our 5th consecutive mobile order over the course of several months that was wrong. It’s gotten to the point when my wife stops to pick it up on her way home from work I have to send her a picture of the order so she can rifle through and double check our items are in there. In person the store is great, but clearly reading a food ticket and checking it off as a bag is packed is too tough to manage. We have had missing guac sides, chips, a missing quesadilla once. Read moreMy wife and I both ordered food, hers was decent, mine was a salad, when i picked it up out of the bag the container felt almost empty. I opened it up and it was the smallest amount of chipotle I’ve ever seen, the lettuce was wilted and soggy, there was a ton of water in the bottom of the container. When I called chipotle to simply ask for a refund just for my order the manager I spoke with wasn’t being compliant. I live 20 mins away and in the country, so service for sending pictures isn’t an option, I asked for an email she said there wasn’t one. She then told me to take a picture of the receipt and a picture of the food and to send it to her, I then proceeded to tell her I was unable to do so. She then wanted me to drive all the way back which is 20 mins in 100 degree heat today then 20 mins back to my home just to show her, the mess I had received. I eventually hung up the phone because she would not listen, in my time as a food service representative, I would have refunded the customer if they were this upset and told my staff to keep an eye out. Read moreI guess I should just be happy I didn't get called fat in Spanish at this location like the one in Gainesville. Line wasn't long, but employees were shuffling around and I asked the first salsa girl for sour cream, but she ignored me and started working on an online order. I asked the second person at the salsa section, and she put it on the person in front of me's order. And then another girl took my bowl out of her hands and started closing it when tbe person in front of me said that was it (meaning for her order). At this point I was just done and took it as is so I could just pay and leave. I would say it's worth it to drive the extra 5 minutes from my house to Gainesville, but those employees feel like it's ok to make fun of customers they assume don't speak Spanish.
