My spouse and I have been PF Chang's customers here for YEARS since it opened. Some of our favorites moments were enjoying food and drink at the bar with the amazing bartender, Jackie.
While my husband was away a week ago, I stopped in and ordered some takeout, having a glass of my favorite wine while waiting (with a new bartender I've never seen before). However, when I got the new "Mongalian Trio" dish home, the rice was overcooked and dried out and the beef in the dish was chewy and inedible, with the shrimp and chicken not much better - I ended up throwing most of the food out.
My husband and I decided to give the place another try and went back last evening. Yet another new bartender, whose attitude could be best described as indifferent, came over, said hello, slapped menus down and walked away without asking us what we'd like to drink and even interfered when another server offered to help. We noticed the new menu did not list wines or prices for wine by the glass like the older menus did - there was only a list of the prices for the half price bottle promotion on Wednesdays on a table sign. Nevertheless, my husband ordered a "tall pour" of one of those wines and I asked for a tall pour of my favorite. The bartender informed me that my wine was not available as a tall pour. I was completely confused since I'd just had it the previous week and pointed that out and that I'd always had it with Jackie. She snapped that Jackie no longer worked there, and when I tried to continue to ask why I couldn't get it, she became surly and really unhelpful. After much confusion and attitude from her, I realized she thought I was ordering one of the sparkling wines, not a glass of non-sparkling, and that my previous favorite was not on the half-price bottle list and was likely no longer available. At that point, I'd had enough of the attitude and combined with my previous experience, my husband and I agreed that this wasn't working for either of us, and we left.
The hostess saw us leaving and asked if there was a problem. I explained briefly what had happened and asked about the menu, and she confirmed that it had been changed. While she was courteous, we simply had no desire to stay and told her so.
This used to be a very good PF Chang's branch, but over the past year, we've notice the food slipping - while the appetizers are still good, the main dishes are either heavily spiced or overcooked in sticky sweet sauces. I first experienced PF Chang's when we lived in NJ years ago - and the current food quality is no longer anywhere near the excellent dishes that were made then. And how do you expect customers to order a glass of wine when you no longer provide a menu and prices? I also realized I didn't recognize any staff in the restaurant anymore, and the restaurant has become understaffed over the past several months. Overall, I hate to lose this restaurant we enjoyed so frequently, but it's not worth another...

Read moreI went to this P.F. Chang’s today and I and had the worst possible service. I drove over an hour from Philly to get here and have been here multiple times. Today I waited 45+ minutes for sushi while I watched tables get sat 20 minutes after me and their food came out the same time. I’m not talking salads or little finger foods either. My waiter never came back to check on me not one time, but was constantly at his other tables as I sat there waiting for him to check on me. They also didn’t have one of the items I ordered and I didn’t make a big deal out of switching that item out even though the waiter told me 15mins after I put the order in. I was seated a table with no soy sauce (completely empty). The presentation of the food that came out was messy. The dumplings are usually on a plate in chili sauce sizzling. The plate and food were not hot. And they did not pour the sauce on and only gave me a tiny bit to pour on there myself. I had to ask for more (from the food runner since the waiter never came back. Which also took ten minutes). Usually the dynamite roll would have the shrimp sitting on top of it and instead the shrimp was scattered all around the plate and a mess. I asked for no aioli and it still came out with the spicy aioli on it. And at that point I didn’t have 45 minutes to wait for another one. I will say that I was the only black person in the entire restaurant , on top of not seeing any Black people on their staff working the floor. I’m not sure if that played a factor, but it definitely felt a little funny. The manager, Timothy was apologetic but at that point it didn’t quite matter. I paid my check, since I never intended on getting a free meal and left. I will not be returning to this location ever again. P.F. Chang’s locations are very far and few, so I may not be returning to the...
