My experience at ArepasZone on August 20, 2025 at 6:36 PM was very disappointing. The girl who took my order showed no interest in providing good service, and the guy who was supposed to be preparing the food was standing right in front of her checking his phone as if nothing else mattered. That kind of attitude shows a total lack of respect and professionalism toward the customer.

After reading other reviews before writing this one, I realized I’m not the only one with the same complaint: poor service and lack of professionalism from the staff are a recurring issue here. What’s even more concerning is that it seems the owners don’t take these criticisms seriously, because the problem keeps happening over and over again. With that reality, it’s impossible to recommend this place, and this will be the last time I...

Arepa Zone has great food and service. I've tried multiple things here, and some of the entrees that I would personally recommend to people are the canosa arepa, pabellon arepa, and arepa domino. There's also the pabellon bowl, which you can choose between beef, chicken, pork, and veggie. I love how, with the beef pabellon bowl, the beef is cooked with a sort of stew flavor, while the beans don't have too much liquid, as it can be sometimes with Chipotle. There's also a good amount of basmati rice, which could use a bit more flavoring in my opinion, but the flavor of the plantain complements the beef.

Overall, I highly recommend the pabellon bowls and arepas. Arepas are quite filling, so I would say that they are worth the price you receive. Pabellon bowls are fairly reasonable for...

It's very hard to find Venezuelan food in the north east area of the U.S. I finally got to order an arepa with tequeños for breakfast. They were really good. However, the service made me feel not to stop by that place never again. They said, I will call you when your order is ready, my food was on the counter for at least 5 minutes, I was having eye contact with them, and they wouldn't call me at all. Of course the lady told me that she called me multiple times, lol. You can see how the 3 people that work there look at you in a very mean way. Like you are less than them or if you have done something wrong. It doesn't matter how good the food is, when you get really negative energies from the people that are serving it. Advice: own the food and serve...

I am allergic to tomatoes and I explain this to the dude in the back of the picture. He literally told me it did not have any tomatoes. My friend and the picture confirmed it has tomatoes. I came here because this place have good reviews but this people care more about a couple of dollars than causing an allergic reaction to a customer. They were rude and untruthful when I asked and that is just very bad in general. I am happy that i didn't bite into the cachapa because I could have had a horrible reaction. Nothing justifies someone lying about the ingredients for the benefit of a business. I don't recommend this place and it makes me sick that they prefer to make someone sick than to correct their mistake.

I got the Sifrina Arepa and the Original Tequeños, which came to a total of $19.47 after tax. In the arepa, the chicken-avocado mixture made up no more than 30% of the total filling, which stopped after the first layer of bites, the rest being shredded cheddar cheese that no doubt came out of a bulk produce bag (and was also cold). As for the tequeños, the queso blanco was still cold in the middle, and the only redeeming factor was the garlic butter that came with them. While I understand their marketing is primarily as 'street food,' if I'm paying restaurant prices I would expect it to at least be edible. Overpriced, Poor-Quality, will not be returning

An exceptional lunch experience at Arepa Zone! The staff's warmth and attentiveness made the meal even more enjoyable. From the moment we walked in to their booth, their friendly service created a welcoming atmosphere. And the food? Simply outstanding! The authentic flavors of their Venezuelan cuisine, especially the arepas, were a delightful culinary journey. A must-visit spot for anyone seeking a taste of Venezuela and a memorable meal.
