ELife Restaurant Anacostia (Everlasting Life Vegan Restaurant) — Restaurant in Washington

Drove all the way from Leesburg,VA and they didn't really have much of a selection. It looked good online but in person, there weren't many food options. It also was dark and dingy, along with the cashier not really seeming like they wanted to be there. He was nice, though. The place needs a little decor and some lighting so we can see the food. Because of the appearance, I chose not to buy any food. I'm sure the food is good but the appearance of the atmosphere is off-putting. I was willing so spend an easy $100 here. I would like to return if this place gets some lighting and more...

This place is awesome! Great price for the amount of food you get! I thought it was a bit pricey at first until I saw the portion size, and it lasted me 2 meals. Everything tasted amazing. And the staff was super friendly! Kenneth, the gentleman serving the food let me sample the Mac and cheese to see which one I wanted to purchase. :) He was awesome and needs a raise! :D The sorbet was sooo good, I ate it all in one sitting. 😋 Highly recommend! Everlasting Life Vegan Restaurant is the healthiest veggie/vegan food restaurant in the District/Maryland/Virginia area. All the foods you like without the meat. Also delicious homemade desserts and smoothies. I was plesantly surprised my first time eating there, now I'm a regular! My health and well being has greatly improved since adopting a plant based diet. Everlasting Life host socially conscious speakers, community discussions, and related film presentations.
