Many years I have avoided Heidi's due to a family member not having the best experience with the food years prior. November 12th, 2019, a couple of hours after shopping, I was starting to get hungry and decided it had been long enough, and I was ready to try it. Walking in, I did notice it was a little bit on the smaller side, a little bit dated, it could use a little bit of an overhaul, but overall what I could see appeared to be clean! Heidi's has a fairly decent but good size menu that hosts a variety of Vietnamese food, from Teriyaki, Pho's, Vermicelli Bowls to Lemongrass/Curry, Specialty dishes, and Veggie dishes, and many items in between. I was extremely hungry for Teriyaki, so my choice was easy. I ordered T9. It contained a 1/2 order of Teriyaki; I chose chicken, but my other choices were beef or pork. And it's typically served with steamed rice, I opted out and paid the difference to have fried rice; Ouch three dollars more for fried rice, none the less I wanted fried rice and not white. After waiting for around 10 or 15 minutes, my food arrived, the presentation was nice, not that there was anything extraordinary about it. Still, the teriyaki chicken was lying on a bed of fried rice; instead of a round ball of white rice next to a heap of teriyaki chicken, and the amount given was a reasonably decent portion I noticed the teriyaki sauce was sweet but not to the extreme where I felt I was eating candy. It was a great balance of flavors and textures. The prices I would say was a little bit on the higher side, but now that I know their food is good, I don't mind as much and will return, even if the cost is higher. Heidi's Employees seemed friendly, not overly chatty though, but mannerly none the less. I am unable to voice my opinion about the restroom. For anyone not aware of Heidi's location, they are across from Joann's Fabrics; in fact, Heidi shares the parking lot with several other businesses, such as Joann's, Staples, Rite Aid & Military recruiting offices. If you haven't tried this little restaurant, please do so, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how decent their food is, I...

We decided to try Heidi’s Teriyaki Express based on the strong reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The food was just okay—nothing terrible, but not memorable either. Most of the chicken dishes we ordered had heavy, burnt grill marks that affected the flavor, and overall, the quality felt more like a 3 out of 5.

We ordered four dishes, and one came out wrong—we asked for beef but received pork instead. Mistakes happen, but it added to the sense that things were a bit off that day. Maybe it was a different cook or just an off shift.

I also placed a to-go order, and when I arrived to pick it up, they couldn’t find it at first. Turns out they had filed it under my last name, which caused a bit of confusion. Not a huge deal, but it added a layer of inconvenience.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews because I know how hard small businesses work, and this might have just been a one-off. Still, I wanted to share our honest experience in case it helps others or the...

Since discovering Pho I have an innate desire to try every places that serves it wherever I go. This day found my wife and I in Silverdale and I saw a Pho sign in the window at Heidi's Teriyaki Express. Lunch time!

My wife ordered the Curry lemongrass chicken I ordered the Yakisoba and we decided to split a beef pho.

My wife LOVED her lemongrass chicken dish the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the flavors were all balanced. The Yakisoba was decent, I like mine with more vegetables than just cabbage and carrots but the chicken and noodles were well flavored and not overcooked. The pho (the real reason we came) was decent. The broth was a little sweeter than I've ever tasted so I didn't drain the bowl like I usually do. The rest of the dish was fine, a solid three stars but if you're looking for pho on the peninsula I'd still stick with Simply Pho.

Service was OK. We weren't checked on very much and the dishes came out like 3-5 minutes apart but all in all a...

Tonight was our first time trying Heidi's. Hubby had Heidi's Special, I had Sweet n Sour chicken and teriyaki chicken combo. We also tried the crab n cheese wontons. I really loved the wontons as I believe they were made with real crab. They were so flavorful! I enjoyed my entree and the chicken was cooked perfectly in the teriyaki portion. The sweet n sour chicken, to me, the sauce was rather sweet and some of the chicken pieces were rather hard and crunchy, but breading ratio was perfect, neither too heavy nor too scant. The server was very nice and attentive even though busy with dinner rush. Overall, a good experience. We will go back!
