I am truly sorry for what I'm about to post. I have visited numerous Jamba Juice locations from Hawaii to DC. First and foremost, the service was ok. The attention to detail in an order could have been a life or death type of situation for me if I did not second guest the proper completion of my order. I have had knowledge of my allergies to mangoes since 2011. I informed the person who took my order of this allergy when I placed my order. I've always ordered the same smoothie apples and greens without mangoes, and most of the time, replace the juice with fresh OJ. This time, I made it very simple and clear, only no mangoes. Well, the receipt did not Indicate no Mangoes and as expected, my smoothie had mangoes in it. It is very important to pay attention to orders and repeat everything to make sure you have it right. That was not the case here. My order was repeated and also confirmed without mangoes, but that's not what i was given. I have come to the conclusion that I need to make my own smoothie because this could have been bad for me. People without allergies are so careless when it comes to someone...
Read moreThe young man who works morning shift is a foodbourme illness outbreak in the making, if it hasn't already happened. He mumbled his name when I asked him. Sounded like "Archie."
Yesterday, I asked him to wash his hands before he made my smoothie, after I saw him scratch his head while working the register. He did so Begrudgingly, badmouthing me to his coworker, making me feel unwelcome.
Today, he washed his hands, but did not dry them. I watched water drip off his hands into the soy protein mix that goes into hundreds of smoothies everyday.
I asked him to dry his hands and put on gloves. He lost his temper, refused to remake the açai bowl, and refunded me cash on a credit card purchase. I hate traveling with cash. I was refused service because I advocated for him to follow basic food safety protocols. I told him I'd file a complaint. He said he didn't care. And I believe him. He doesn't care if he makes customers sick or keeps his...

I had the Strawberry and Waffle bowl with coconut instead of the Greek yogurt…
Now, my review will be very Biased because I prefer my fruit bowl more fruit and a lot less sweet! But if you want a bowl full of SWEET, and not as “healthy”.. then this is the bowl for you! It tasted more like a dessert treat than a “healthy bowl”… but other than that.. they were fast and friendly there!! Ohh, and the coconut texture was more like a whipped cream than a yogurt.
Might try a...
