Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Washington

I was hosting a going away office party. I wanted Ledo's Pizza and Chik-Fil-A strips. I ordered both the day before to pick up at a specific time to get back to my office in time to start.

First, I go to CFA. They didn't have my order, kept me waiting only to tell me that it would take two hours to get a 'new' order. I left without strips as I was now running behind schedule

I get to LEDO'S and I'm distraught. Akhtar, at the register assures me he had my order and it will be ready at the agreed upon time. He gets Mat who calms me down and helps me add to my order some chicken nuggets and promises that he can get the additional items without adding to my wait time as well as give me a good presentation. Once done, Akhtar helped get them to my car, and even insisted on proper placement in the car to avoid having the food get damaged during transportation.

The party was a success! People who had heard of Ledo's were thrilled that I had chosen them for pizza. People who had not heard of Ledo's were asking for the address and saying it was the best pizza they ever had. And the nuggets were a hit on top of being cheaper than Chick-fil-A and they had a variety of sauces.

This was my second bad experience with Chick-fil-A, but this was my third AMAZING experience with Ledo's - all from different locations. To Mat and Akhtar - your customer service was above and beyond. To Ledo's the chain, you must be doing something right to have consistent great service across...

I hate writing bad reviews but I cannot get over how disgusting the gyro salad I ordered from Ledos on H street, I was avoiding cava so I decided to take a chance, boy how I was wrong. The salad was a combination of rotten and frozen, the lettuce and greens were ice cold and expired like it had been sitting in the freezer past its expiration, the cherry tomatoes were rotting and soggy, and don’t even get me started on the gyro meat, I’m not even sure if it was real meat.. it was salty and gross.. I’m horrified I tried it before I threw it away. I called the establishment to let them know in lieu of writing a bad review, instead of refunding me, the owner or cashier (who knows) decided to rudely argue with me and implored me to “check their reviews” so anyway, avoid this establishment or at least don’t order any salads here. They’re unsanitary and rude.

To be honest, it’s a filthy place and when I walked in the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me, he was literally watching Netflix until I asked if he worked there. Don’t waste...

I'll be honest. I was skeptical. Who opens a pizza shop a few blocks from the flagship &pizza? One destined to fail! Well, after dining at Ledo, I stand humbly corrected. They will not only survive, but thrive!

Ledo Pizza is a DMV local pizza chain specializing in pizza that all taste like middle pieces (the best pieces). They have custom pizzas, make your own, and even subs and other dinner items. If you go with what they are known for, their pizzas come in three sizes. The smallest comes in nine pieces and is perfect for one person. My sausage and cheese pizza was perfect with plenty of tomato sauce. It was tasty AND cheap ($9.50- cheapest pizza in town).

The only complaint about this location is that the service was slow, friendly, but slow. It took thirty minutes for us to get our pizzas.

The space is well laid out with plenty of tables for those dining in.
