We went to Picazo's Taco Zone 16115 Meridian E, Puyallup, WA 98375 because we had to try their new menu special of their take on Birria Tacos we saw on Facebook. If you want a lighter take on these cheesy meat filled tacos I highly recommend trying them here. You get three toasted tortillas that are filled with Birria Meat and gooey cheese. The meat is large tender chunks that have alot of favor and the crispy but soft tortilla holds together well after dipping it in the consomme. The consomme is so flavorful but not greasy and overly rich like some others that we've had in Pierce County. They also give you a few limes and slices of fresh avocado that give that extra flavor and texture to the tacos.

Margaritas: My husband ordered their Ultimate margarita and he said it was refreshing. This isn't your typical margarita. They squeeze fresh lime juice and add a splash of lemonade, soda water, tequila and Grand Marnier. He said he'd go back just for a margarita.

Churros: We were filled up just right from the tacos so we didn't have room to try the churros so we got them to go. When we did eat them they were still warm and they had a light crunch but still soft and chewy in the middle some of the best we've had on South Hill. They give you a side of chocolate sauce and whipped cream to dip them in.

Customer Service: Our experience was top notch. The owner Jerry and his son Jerry Jr were very warm and welcoming to their restaurant and with the tacos being a new item on the menu they really cared on how they were and our thoughts seems how we tried them at other locations. They really care about their quality of food and try to give the best experience to keep customers coming back. The service alone will keep bringing us back.

**On a side note there was a table of ladies that all ordered their carne asada tacos and we could hear them saying how amazing they were and some of the best they ever had as they were...

So, I will start with our experience & then move on to the things about the business itself. We walked in & were quickly greeted by a very friendly guy who told us to sit wherever we like. He quickly gave us menus & took our drink order, after giving us a minuet to look over the menu he took our order then brought out our drinks & served each of us a Tostada which was DELICIOUS. The corn totila was fried perfect & the cabbage was fresh & crisp with a nice layer of fantastically seasoned re fried beans. I asked why & he said that they like to serve that instead of chips & salsa although they do have it if you prefer. To be honest it was a refreshing change. Our food came out pipping hot & look amazing. I had cheese Enchiladas with traditional red sauce, that sauce is the best I've had compared to any place even close to here. My husband had a Carne Asada burrito which he said was spot on. So on to the restaurant itself. They are honestly all about the customers. Each table that is against a wall has two USB ports in case you need to charge your phone with a 110 outlet as well, except for their flour tortillas they are Gluten free & nut allergy free! The menu has plenty to chose from & even offers a small American fare section. They cut their vegetables fresh & when I say fresh, I mean several times a day. The cabbage was so yummy with a nice crunch & don't forget the awesome drink menu with happy hour from 2-5 pm everyday! The atmosphere is great lively & fun, they have taco Tuesday & drink specials like the Jalapeno margarita! It's clean & colorful, even the bathroom is cute. I will definitely return & I recommend this place for sure! This place...

Our new favorite spot! Shout out to Gerry for the amazing service. Our first time trying this place on Saturday and we're so glad we did! This was by far the best mexican restaurant we've ate at. All their dishes are authentic and their recipes were past down from generations. The food was soo delicious and we will definitely come back. The beans and rice is homemade and you can taste the difference. We definitely recommend this place. One of my favorite dish is the quesabirria with consome. Support this family owned small business.
