I love the whimsical flavors and nod to the presidents - Marilyn Monroe's singing happy birthday to JFK and Moose Tracks to Teddy Roosevelt's passion for hunting. With over 20 flavors, it's quite a feat to choose! Although it's a bummer that the ice cream isn't locally sourced, it's from the national chain Bassetts.

I'm glad I landed on the decadent Guatemalan Ripple based on Jefferson's love for coffee. Every lick was divine with a swirl of mocha fudge and a sea of chocolate truffles in a deep coffee base. The sweetness of the chocolate cut the bitterness of the rich coffee.

Fun concept, solid ice cream, DC-high prices. The waffle cone was average but the ice cream was good and they give generous servings.
