I met Ramon at another Tailor shop 8 years ago! I wasn’t satisfied with the service and what they were telling me there. Ramon has an eye for fashion and knows how to create and craft any garments. He explains the difference in fabrics and more importantly shows me the quality of the construction of the garment.

The Capital Tailor is perfectly located in Georgetown on a street that’s not too busy. The shop is bigger than any other tailor shop with two floors. The Style Bar theme of creating and crafting your garment and options digitally is new in the fashion industry. The selection of top notch fabrics from all the most respected names in custom clothing. They even have ready to wear suits, jeans, shirts, ties, and jewelry and bead accessories.

The best! I followed the advice of the other reviewers and did not regret. Superb customer service that makes you feel pampered. I came to them about having a number of sweaters repaired but after talking to Raiza, decided to bring in two new suits as well for tailoring. But these weren’t just any suits- hand made in Italy, fully canvassed the old world way. Not something you would entrust to anyone. Ramon, who is from a family of tailors, knew immediately that these were very nice suits. Whether you have him craft a suit from scratch or tailor something you’ve already bought, he does an excellent job. He fixed the holes in my sweaters and you have to look long and hard to see where the holes were. As far as my suits, they look incredible. I would say that if you’re into quality and craftsmanship, this is where you should go....
