On 3/2/2024 I had a disappointing experience with the customer service at your store. I wish I can give negative stars. The cashier, Stephanie, was unprofessional and rude. I asked help to find the missing shoes on the rack. Initially, she said I need to pay for the one shoe before trying or seeing them in a pair! I then ask I couldn’t try in a pair before I make the purchase? Then Stephanie screamed and saying someone will bring the missing side to me. Later a male staff brought it to me. Stephanie did not allow me to try on the shoes in a pair or even look at them together because they were designer shoes. The shoes cost less than $100.00, which way were less than most items in the store but they were free for try on. I was confused by her reasoning. Isn’t Nordstrom Rack is well known for designer labels?? Long story short, I was only allowed to try one side of the shoes at a time, in front of her. I didn’t even get a chance to look at the mirror!! Because they were slides so as long as they fit me, I’m fine. I confirm to buy them at the spot. I was at the register, ready to pay after trying on the shoes individually, however Stephanie asked me to stand in line again. It seemed like she had set up unusual policies specifically for me again!! Even the customer in the line found odd and asked me twice if I was sure to let him go first. When it was finally my turn to pay, I asked Stephanie to explain why I couldn't try on the shoes in a pair before purchasing, and she couldn't provide a clear explanation. She called someone over, not a manger, but neither of them could clearly explain the store policy. They blamed it on the store manager's ideas, and she was off at that time. As a customer, I felt that the untrained staff was upset or had some issues with selling designer items. I have never heard of not being able to try on shoes in a pair at the retail store before making a purchase nor have I ever been asked to go back and wait in line again when I physically at the register with the products. The entire experience was terrible. It felt like they didn't want to make any sales in that particular store. The store was full staffed at least 4-5 staffs. The “acting manager”, Stephanie was unprofessional, rude and scream at the customer for no reason. I’ll be skeptical to visit or make purchase at this location, as the entire experience was terrible and disrespectful because of Stephanie. I always had good experience with Nordstrom Rack until today. Nordstrom Rack, Don’t let one rotten apple spoils the barrel. Stephanie’s attitude and attire are unfit for the retail position. She’s either requires more retail trainings or work in the storerooms.

Let me just start off by saying that I have been very frequent Nordstrom, Nordstrom rack, and HauteLook customer Since when I first started working at Nordstrom downtown San Diego at Horton Plaza back in 2005. Cash App I’m not at NORDSTROM RACK and I go to each particular location usually for more specific. one of my favorites has always been the L St. location, but after today’s visit I don’t think I will ever step foot back into the store. I went on the mail third to the Springfield location and bought a duffel bag which I was very excited about, great price. The next day when I used it for some clothes in a pair shoes it broke. So I live not far from the L St. location rather than thought that I would be able to exchange it but the lady at the checkout stand when I explained to her that the girl in Springfield forgot to ask my email address so I had no Emailed Receipt, and I had a lot of bags that day and lost my paper receipt. So I thought it would be an easy trade is pretty clear that it is at Nordstrom rack brand, and all the girl dead snap at me and say “I’m sorry Siri use the gift cards are rung up like cash so unfortunately there’s nothing I can do for you have a great day.” I’ve never had somebody check me out so quick to snap at me and frankly I felt semi-embarrassed because of the customers around looking at me. But I understand people have bad days, I just didn’t understand why I asked a simple question if I could exchange and she felt the need to be rude to me about it. So with that being said I will never come back to the store and I don’t actually know that I will continue to shop online in the store at Nordstrom, Nordstrom rack, or HauteLook anymore. This is just really put a bitter taste in my mouth and I did not think that I deserve that for spending my money at a store. Now I have wasted $32 that I will never see again thanks to one girl who felt like it was appropriate that she was rude to me.

I never had such a negative experience in Nordstrom. There is a clear sign at the entrance door and in the store stating that if I download their app-get $5off. In from of the cashier and later store manager Ronda I did that and then they declined to give me $5 off as some banner on the app didn't show up - no explanation no nothing. I never had the Nordstrom app before (during covid, I was in Europe, and I just came back, so I didn't have the app). I will communicate this to Nordstrom.as well. If something is advertised, they have to honor it.

An exquisite shop to visit if one wishes to endure (or witness) the plight of the poor. I had recently popped in to purchase some trinkets for my housekeeper's maid back in Spain. The adore anything from the Colonies these Spaniard types.

I perused some of the outer fringes of the shop, far away from the central portions where one hears nothing but foul language of the working class and the wretched sound of metal hangers scratching against the crude aluminium posts beneath them.

After a few moments of perusing, I was able to select a lovely giclee that was marked down to a mere £200,00 from £700,00! I also happened upon some lovely goose down comforters that are beloved in Spain.

I was quite shocked that the cashier stand was staffed by mostly elderly ethnic ladies that were clearly not very bright. My cashier, Lorna did not offer to wrap my purchases and ship them to Spain via overnight express; she also barely spoke English, the poor dear.

Of course, my disdain faded when I snapped back to the reality that I was in a bargain basement full of DC's bottom feeders and urchins.

All in all, this was a lovely display of why I reside in Spain and not in the Colonies that the Queen relinquished to...
