A moroccan restaurant. I was in a trip and dying for a couscous. The couscous was yummi, the service was excellent, the place is Moroccan but none of the servers or chef are Moroccan lol The only two complains are the hookah, the hookah guy wasn’t focus on changing the charbon, and the charbon was a very bad quality it gave a bad taste for the hookah (I am from a hookah country, I know what a good hookah looks like 😂) The second thing was the price. It’s overpriced comparing to the other places I visited later on, we paid $100 for one course food, a hookah, french fries and two cokes.

We had the most bizarre and rudest experience here. We wanted to stop by here for a chill night and hookah. My sis-in-law accidentally walked in with a cup of soda and as soon as we opened the door and stepped inside the man behind the bar started aggressively yelling at her. We were so confused at first from that yelling and thought it was at someone else or for something else and the yelling was to the level of as if she was committing a major crime. We should have just left after that but it just caught us so off guard that she ran out and threw away the drink and we talked to the host. He could have easily asked us politely and we have no reason not to do so. The host asked us for an ID but my brother had my sis-in-law's ID and he was across the street joining us shortly. She explained to the host that she has a picture of it but my brother has was going to join soon and she can show the physical one then. The host says he'll check with the manager in case the pic is ok. The manager comes over who ends up being the guy behind the bar that screamed at us. He said they don't allow pics and we told him that we can just wait outside. He then goes off tangent about how he wouldn't want females to be waiting outside, grills my sis-in-law about her ID, and also proceeds to look through my paper Uniqlo bag to make sure it's not food. It was so bizarre since it was obviously not food and even had the logo outside and I've been carrying that bag all day even through nicer restaurants and rooftops bars and did not even get a comment from any of those places. He didn't even ask my permission and just grabbed a side of it to open and look. We just left after that. The mood was ruined and we did not want to give any money to a place that treats their customers like that. It's a shame because we've been here many times before and enjoyed it but we would never return here after...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My friends and I walked in, ordered a hookah, and within five minutes decided we wanted to leave. We hadn’t even seen the hookah, let alone used it, so we figured it wouldn’t be an issue. But oh, were we wrong.

We explicitly told the waiters and even the runner that we wanted to cancel the order, and they told us it was fine. We even walked past the manager, Dennis (yes, I’m naming names), and he didn’t say a word—because he wasn’t even aware of the situation until after we had already left. That’s when he suddenly decided to call us back and demand payment for something we never received.

Instead of handling the situation like a professional, he acted condescending and rude, arguing with us for ten minutes in the middle of the street. It was honestly embarrassing—for him.

To make matters worse, we felt completely unsafe. There were people surrounding us, including a security guard, and the whole thing felt like a setup to intimidate us into paying for nothing. Dennis even pretended to “call the owner” to try and let it slide—yeah, sure. We knew he was lying, but at that point, we just wanted to get out of there.

This place is a joke, run by people who have no concept of customer service, let alone basic decency. Save yourself the stress and go...

This place had a nice vibe and a seemingly good menu. It is a hookah joint so be prepared for that.

The reason for the low rating is I had two interactions that were incredibly unpleasant. We just stopped in to split a couple entrées, we had ordered a beef, entrée and chicken skewers.

When the entrées came out, one of them was sliders, which is not what we ordered. I politely asked the Food Runner for a menu to make sure we did not make a mistake, and Yeah she rolled her eyes and grabbed a menu, she then told me “this is basically the same thing to just eat it.” (It was not, I did not order sliders). I asked kindly for the item we ordered and she walked off. Our Server came by and said that the food would be a while, I figured this would be 10 to 15 minutes but 30 minutes went by and we still hadn’t got her other entrée. At this point it was getting late so I asked the Server if he please wouldn’t mind just cashing us out for the skewers. The server seemed very angry, clenched his jaw and walked away and took about 10 minutes to bring the check which he tossed onto the table in front of me.

Having worked in service I know it can get stressful on a Friday night but we were kind and simply just wanted what we ordered. I was shocked how rude the staff was. Wouldn’t recommend...
