Muzette — Restaurant in Washington

Muzette is THE BEST karaoke spot in Washington, D.C., and it’s not even close. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate even the largest groups. We found ourselves spending what was probably 4+ hours there. A true melting pot in so many ways, as songs were sung by all in different languages. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING; I’d like to give a personal shout-out to Ciara and Brian (I apologize if I spelled your names wrong), as they were honestly so nice and helpful.

The atmosphere in Muzette is unrivaled, especially when you compare several busy nightclubs/bars in the metropolitan area. Whether you’re with a hostel group, loved ones, or just ordering takeout, check it out!

The karaoke setup itself is intuitive w/ touchscreen + YouTube accessibility in case you can’t find 1/70,000 songs. Even though every room seemed dialed to 11, conversations at the bar area felt comfortable in volume.

If you’re looking for something fun in D.C. - this is it! Thanks again, will DEFINITELY come back!

Edit: Updated review to correct pricing per ~7-8 individuals. IIRC it factors out to $80-$85+ per person/4.25 hours*. I can’t stress enough how incredible the staff is/was. Worth it.

Hey , had my birthday there .... reservation was at 7pm got there around 7:15, the reservation was not altered although there was a grace period. Was rushed out after reservation and over charged ! My party and the waitress was instructed not to purchase on the room , entire party went to bar to order and pay separately from room. Still charged room card for other orders, as well as had card and receipt of group member at bar , confused at the over charging, lack of customer service and communication , was not offered anything as well as she swiped my card twice! when told about the over charge, the card at the bar and orders on room she became flustered and aggressive, shoed off other guest trying to check out, swiped my card for the over charged refunded me and then had to charge my card for original price ! Smh I wouldn’t recommend this spot go to wok and roll across the street ! Cheaper and maybe better service , they just want your money here and will not accommodate or offer anything! Poor customer service , rude service, lack of communication, over charging and language barrier ! Everything is ok until...

Do not come here. We were a party of six and we got here on time. The lady bought us the the room and didn’t go over anything with us; ordering, how to put in music, nothing.

There’s no ventilation in the room without the AC and there was no AC for the majority of our 2-hour booking… this is March by the way so we’re dressed for March weather. The room was really really hot and with people singing/belting it out plus 2 tv monitors & taking shots, you can imagine how hot it was, I was worried one of us would faint. We had 3 people in our party on 3 separate occasions during our time slot ask about the AC. They finally put the AC on with about 30mins left of the booking.

The Karaoke music isn’t like I experienced before, all the songs except 1 had vocals attached to it and there’s no way to turn of the vocals. The mics are trash, there is no way to sing over the vocals cause they are so loud.
