Not good food. The tuna "poki" had a very odd and disgusting texture, not to mention the taste of it. It felt just like a chunk of canned tuna. Its called "poki" but there was only around 5 pieces of actual poke (if you can call it that), the rest was cucumber. The service was also incredibly slow. Also the restaurant itself seems kinda run down and dirty. And their poor goldfish are sitting in way too small of a tank and in disgusting water. Just not good for anybody with tastebuds, won't come here again.

My favorite sushi place in the valley. It's not all-you-can-eat, and it's not a mind blowing atmosphere, but the quality and taste of the food is incredible and the service is amazing. Everyone there has always been extremely nice, orders come quickly, and just all around made it a great experience. I've never had a bad meal there and I have been at least a dozen times.

This little hole in the wall has a wonderful selection of sushi, Chinese, and Korean food. All of their menu items are custom made fresh when you order them. Appetizers, lunch, and dinner options will not disappoint. Beef bulgogi, chicken katsu, and veggie rolls are my personal favorites. Hubby and kids go tos are: Spicy Tuna Roll, Mt. McKinley Roll, and Samurai Roll.

I first want to say that I have not left a negative review for a restaurant in a long time. Secondly, I don’t leave negative reviews unless it is absolutely warranted. I am a sushi lover. I am giving two stars. The only reason I am not giving this restaurant one star is because the sushi was acceptable and the wait staff was very friendly. I found the environment to be disgusting, filthy, and I do believe sushi is now ruined for me forever. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed a pungent, rotting fish tank smell. Obviously this was coming from the fish tank which is right by the door. The fish tank was dingy and gross, to the point that it stunk. At least I hope it was the fish tank I was smelling and not rotting fish from the kitchen. Also upon walking in, I noticed a large bin of filthy, smelly dishes within close proximity to the table where we were seated. Between the smell of the fish tank, and the smell (and sight) of the dirty dishes, it ruined my appetite. The menus are filthy. I wouldn’t let my children touch them and didn’t want to touch it myself. I am kicking myself for not just getting up and leaving. It was gross! I placed our order knowing my appetite had been ruined. I let the kids eat their chicken, and got our sushi to go. I had a piece of sushi while we waited for our to go boxes and the smell of rotting fish tank, with the smell and sight of the pile of dirty dishes was too much for my stomach. I will never eat...

My husband and I visited Sakura on Friday 2/15 around 4. We expected it to be extremely busy but were pleasantly surprised to be sat immediately.

But. That was the end of our positive experience. There were two servers and 5 tables besides ourselves in the restaurant. We were not greeted for 14 mins, but a table who came in 10 mins after us had drinks before they were even sat down. And orders taken before we even had drinks. Not sure if our server was at the end of her shift or what, but it was frustrating.

We had our order taken, soup and salad brought out and still zero drinks. It took a new server coming onto shift... 45 mins after we sat down to realize we were missing them. At that point I was already annoyed with our server so there was no redeeming the experience.

The sushi was ok at best. Rolled too thin and wide so it fell apart. Which I hate in sushi. It was expensive and portions were small. We didn’t leave hungry, but we definitely didn’t leave full either.

We drove about 40 mins to visit here and we both agreed we won’t be doing it again. There are much better options closer by us that are tried and true. Which is a bummer we had high...

My husband and 2 sons, along with myself, went in tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered, kids got their food after a reasonable wait. My husband and I then waited nearly 2 HOURS after we ordered for the 4 sushi rolls to arrive. When they finally did begin arriving, it was 1 or 2 rolls at a time.

We watched as the sushi chef prioritized "To-Go" orders over the few tables in the restaurant waiting. We watched as several tables got fed up and walked out. At one point (with several tables still waiting for food) the chef disappeared on what I can only assume was a break.

Finally, when we had got 3 of the 4 rolls my husband got tired of waiting for his last roll and went to the counter to politly ask if they could box up his remaining roll as To Go. The sushi chef threw a temper tantrum and said it was already on a plate. Then said something in his language to my husband. When my husband asked the waitress what he had said, she replied with "dont worry about it." So we can only assume it was derogatory.

Will never...
