Perkup Espresso — Restaurant in Wasilla

Perk up has been hit n miss for us over the past year or so. Depending on location. This last time we went to the location over by the RW(?) Burger stop. We get a blackberry raspberry lotus. No one seems to know what REALLY light ice is. And it bothers me 🤣. So I usually opt in for no ice at all, and my husband will take the gamble. And there has only been 1 or 2 times they actually did really light ice.

I don't like paying for a 32 oz drink only to get less than that because they fill the cups with ice.

I was also told once that they refused to fill it up. Like wtf am I paying for. Anyways, like I said, it's hit n miss but usually decent.

And what we get doesn't speak to the rest of the menu...

Also, SUPER bummed they stopped doing Costco Muffins, not sure where they get theirs from now or if they make it themselves. That or Costco started to make different muffins.... whatever the case may be, they are different, and none of my family likes them, so we stopped ordering them.

Once again, this place is hit or miss. Every time new employees come in, the service changes. Here’s the issue: when I ask for no ice, that does NOT mean I only want my cup filled halfway. I paid for a 24oz drink, and I expect a full 24oz drink—not 20oz just because I don’t want ice. It’s frustrating, and honestly unfair, to short customers like that. On top of that, I shouldn’t have to explain every time that I can’t have ice from the machines because of bacteria concerns. In the last five years this has only happened a handful of times, but when it does, it leaves a bad taste. Customers shouldn’t have to fight for what they already paid for. Other than that the ladies are always nice despite my grumpy...

My wife and I have been. Loyal perkup customers since we moved here 3 years ago. We only ever buy the lotus with no ice. This week perkup has lowered their standard. We order a lotus with no ice 24oz they filled it to 20 oz and said they can't fill it more because there is no ice and they don't want to open another can. We love perkup but this is ridiculous. 24 oz is 24 oz regardless of ice. I didn't pay for ice I payed for a drink. Sadly if this continues we won't be going to perkup...
