Krispy Kreme Doughnuts — Restaurant in Wasilla

Krispy kreme is supposed to be an experience bring the kids in see the doughnuts being made and going through the glaze waterfall followed by picking from an assortment and then eating the fresh warm glazed originals, a friendly employee greeting you with a smile and a free glazed doughnut while you wait in line. NOPE! None of it machine off doughnuts cold i counted the flavors in the case and 16 out of 32 were unavailable the manager was asked a question and was a jerk who was too busy to be bothered with such mundane tasks as helping a customer as we were clearly cutting into his busy schedule of sittjng in the corner of the lobby drinking coffee. Overall the experience was nothing like what i expect from krispy kreme and if i wanted cold doughnuts with no customer service and no variety i would grab a box...

I ordered online and maybe that was my mistake? To be honest the experience wasn’t completely bad but what made me angry was the girl who helped fill my order didn’t say anything to me about items they didn’t have that I ordered. Not one word and she just filled it with whatever and sent me on my way. I wished she would have given me a chance to change my choices because I ended up with filling flavors I didn’t like (lemon). Also they don’t have the Independence Day donuts advertised online so be careful when you order online. My family and I attempted to grab some donuts today at Krispy Kreme’s Wasilla location on 3/11/23 at 7:30am. The sign at the front door said they were only open for drive thru. We had a large trailer and couldn’t turn through the drive thru. My kids and husband attempted to walk through the drive thru, both the ordering screen and knocking on the drive thru window but no one answered. We tried knocking on the front door and could see two workers and they headed back to the back to hide from us. I attempted to call an no one answered. To say the least, very disappointed.
