Dave & Buster's Wauwatosa — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

Waited 30 minutes for bartender to even acknowledge our presence, despite there were only four couples at the bar. One of the managers were licking her fingers prior to her, bringing us our food. And she took our pickles despite them being half full we had to request them back. The bartender only checked in three times within three hours and eight minutes and twice it was due to her being flagged down by us. two couples had to move to get service from the end of the bar and when they asked her about the bad service, she said it was because she gives bad service to the last four seats at the end of the bar and if they wanted good service they needed to move to the front, or the middle of the bar, of which they did, and they still had poor service, everyone was complaining. We were in the fifth and six seats and we still had a horrible service, the worst we’ve ever had in our lives, no exaggeration. Two other couples also had to move and the third couple that was there during the night never even got to order food due to poor service. There was another couple at the bar that had to reach behind the bar and get a to go container because the bartender just would not acknowledge them, and that they were ready to go after waiting 45 minutes, we know this because we talked to all three of the couples. My significant other paid for all you can eat Wings only got to order two refills because the service was so poor and the waitress never came back and the last order we waited on took 40+ minutes because the waiter stated it was taking a long time due to the kitchen closed at 11 and I told her we put our order in at 10:40 but she stated she put it in after 11 so that’s why It was taking so long, however, there was never no apology or compensation for us having to wait this whole time, there was only three couples at the bar. If you check the cameras, the 2 hours and a half there was never more than four couples in the bar, and never more than any no more than maybe two or three couples in the restaurant this entire time, ordering anything there was no reason for the poor service. and we waited an additional 50 minutes. And then the bar tender's and waitress/staff all drank strawberry daiquiris and chilled while the couple to our right never even got to order food. This was our first time in life ever not giving tips. I always tip even with bad service, my fiancé never ever complains and he did not want to complain tonight. However, I had to do this survey and will be doing a review as well. All she received from three couples was five dollars, pitiful. worst service in the world I don’t even know if I’ll be coming back ever. Tonight was supposed to be a special fun night. Nothing but a total disappointment from Dave & Buster’s. I could’ve never imagined service could be this horrible not only for one couple but for 4 different couples. Sad.

Oh, and they were not able to sell 2 of the 4 $5 bites due...

If you go looking my history of reviews, I always will say the good and bad that happened during my experience, and I try to give the benefit of the doubt. This review, I can't do that

The place is dirty. Gross- bathroom photos included which is leading a mess into the hallway towards tables/bar I got my plate of food, there was a soup spoon sticking out on my plate (I got steak and pasta with shrimp. Nothing that needed a spoon what so ever.) I took a photo of what the spoon look liked (I did not use it or put anything on it. As seen in the photo is exactly what it looked like hanging off my plate) but the plate is empty in the photo as I was starving and had to eat regardless.

I asked for medium rare steak: it was dry, well done, and over seasoned with just salt it seemed (my fiance even said but u love salt- when I made the comment. And even I, the salt king, was disgusted")

We waited over an hour for two meals. We looked around and we were one of 2 tables it seemed here for dinner. The table next to us are probably nearing their hour mark about now.

No one could explain or help us with the package deals of play and eat. We didn't know to seat ourselves or not. Our server is nice but hasn't been back to check on us since we ate our entire meals.

Won't be back Going to the garcade or round 1 next time

Then, after not seeing our waitress at all, I was going to pay for dinner so my girlfriend wouldn't have to and since we had already been outside once for air,we were going to put our prizes in the car and I left my wallet in the glove box so she walked out with me to grab it. The waitress runs out behinds us saying we needed to pay for the bill, almost insinuating we were walking out. At this point I'm more than just annoyed and offended so my girlfriend says she's just going to pay it and I go take the things to the car and warm it up.

Instead of chasing us like psychos, just say hey I'm not sure if you forgot because I haven't tended to you in almost 2 hours but I forgot to give you your bill! We would say,we know, we're grabbing my wallet from the car and taking our prizes and putting them away. We aren't theives. We also REGISTERED OUR CARDS PRIOR TO GOING TO GRAB MY WALLET, SO WHY WOULD WE TRY TO "DINE AND DASH" IF YOU HAVE ALL OF MY CONTACT INFORMATION IN THE SYSTEM...

This was my least pleasant experience, food/cleanliness and service wise.

The young woman with shorter hair in the prize area was the sweetest and the best thing about...

I wish we had dined in at another location or another arcade style restaurant no matter the inconvenience to save us the hassle of horrible service we received. Despite a long line, we did get sat fast thanks to the host and having arcade cards already. Sitting down, we got our drink orders ready for our server who was taking a bit to get to our table. He said he could get us started on our drinks and to let us know when we were ready to order food. My boyfriend let him know we were ready to order but he said he had other tables to get to and then finally when he was ready he was unprepared, having to go back and get his tablet, taking awhile. We checked a bit later, food was ready but we were missing a pepperoni pizza which I notified him about and he repeated back to me. He came back minutes later to double check what we were missing but he gave the kids all refills without us asking which was nice. I didn’t realize we had no plates at this time, but trying to find him was impossible. I tried to go to the host stand and bar to get plates but wasn’t getting any attention. I ended up taking some plates off of a clean table. After realizing we were getting annoyed and waiting for a long time, he came back he started asking us if we’d ever been there before or knew us because we looked familiar and wouldn’t let it go that we didn’t know him…trust me if we had known him, we probably wouldn’t have sat in his section. Unfortunately we got another round of the same previous drinks, he notified me that I received the wrong drink in the first round, but “it was the same price, so it wasn’t a problem.” It took forever to check out, and he gave us our check and then told us he had to fix the drinks because they weren’t the same price and wanted to charge me for what I ordered, not what I received, very nice. It took him ten minutes to come back and the price difference was only $1.5, I would have told him to not worry about it had I known. When my boyfriend wanted to split the payment half card and half cash, he assumed he wasn’t going to tip because he said there was automatic gratuity added to the card (we wanted to tip in cash) and said they do this with anything over $5. When asking questions about it and trying to get clarification about this, he walked away in a frustrated manner and we just left because at that point we had spent more time waiting than playing...
