Where to start? My friend and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon to be “greeted” (if you want to call it that) by a disgruntled employee, she did not say hello or anything at all actually, just deadpan stared at me until I started to order. I had a large order and started by ordering chicken strips, moved onto fries and noticed that she hadn’t pressed any buttons on her computer, so I paused, “how many piece?” she asked, as though my presence was a clear interruption of her day, I responded and continued with my order. Part of my order was 2 snack sized Oreo mcflurries, and even though I would find out later that the mixer was broken, nothing was said about that at the time I ordered. My friend was next in line, he approached and stated that he had placed a mobile order, she said nothing, instead she turned to the people who work working the drive thru and said, “I’m finna leave, this is too much.” The girl working the drive thru (who, throughout my visit seemed to be the one and only competent employee in existence - management included) looked at her and asked her why she couldn’t just keep her cool. The manager then stepped in and couldn’t figure out where his mobile order was, pushed him to the side and continued serving other people. He went back into his app and placed his order again, at which point it worked which we knew because we saw it pop up on the screen. No one said anything or seemed to care whether he was able to order/be served. We then waited about 20 minutes in the dining room which was ridden with napkins, crumbs, and generally appeared to be dirty. When my order was called I went up and grabbed the bag plus two mcflurries, which did not have spoons but looked like it was just ice cream with Oreo dumped on top of it. I took them back to the counter and reported that they had not been mixed, the girl who took my order was then eating her own McFlurry by the fry station, looked at me again like I was an imposition to her life and said, “our mixer is broken.” I responded that she should have informed me of that at the time I placed the order, she said, “you don’t want to mix it yourself?” I told her that I did not wish to mix it myself, as it kind of defeats the point of ordering a McFlurry, and she said, “well what do you want? A refund?” At that point the manager turned around and said, “no!” And I said, “sure, I’d take a refund.” So the manager, though she didn’t want to, came over to the register and refunded my money. My friend’s order came up next as they called for “who had the mobile order?” We left approximately 30 minutes after we arrived, which should be more than enough time to arrive, order, be served, and eat a meal in such an establishment, both of us had a headache. I am appalled at the rudeness and general lack of concern of your staff. We left and I commented to my friend that these are likely the same people who are protesting for $15/hour. I don’t make much more than that myself and I can tell you that I'd be fired on the spot if I showed a fraction of the apathy that I saw today. If you want more you’ve got to be more, and better. WAY BETTER. I can tell you with absolute confidence that this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth that will not likely go away any time too soon, it’ll be a long time before I spend my hard earned...
Read moreMost frustrating McDonald's restaurant I've ever been to! Service has gone straight downhill steadily for years now. It's like no one cares any more, honestly! MANY orders have been wrong over the last few years, and taken WAY too long to recieve, but I try to chalk that up to human error. However It's gotten so bad that tonight I waited in the drive thru line behind several other cars then when I got up to the fully lit menu board and speaker/screen nothing happened. At all. No one talking through the speaker asking for my order, nothing. Just a rolling series of advertisements for their menu offerings and a few minutes of silence. I drove around the building witnessing several employees inside so I thought perhaps I hadn't waited long enough. Tried again, waiting several minutes this time. Still nothing. There was a car that had been ahead of me in line that was sitting at the 2nd drive thru window so it appeared they were waiting for their food. So I circled the building one more time looking for posted store hours, since I was basing my visit time (about 9:40pm) on previous experience & the Google maps times (which says they're open til midnight). They don't even have their restaurant hours physically posted in their main entrance any more! So let me get this straight... you have several employees working, some of which have seen me out the window (I made eye contact... they saw me...), yet no one will take an order or let me know they closed early or anything? This is insane! How do they expect to keep their business functioning if they flat out ignore their customers?!? Best I can tell is that the cars ahead of me were just giving up and driving out around the other side of the building, which because of the viewpoint from in the line at the drive thru I wouldn't have been able to tell. I just assumed people were placing orders, especially since I saw that car at the drive thru window. So I guess count your blessings if you arrive at this McDonald's and a) they're actually open when they're supposed to be, b) by some miracle they actually get your order right, c) you receive your correct change (trust me... count it!), d) your order gets brought to you in less time than it would have taken you to go home and prepare it yourself (oh, how I wish I were kidding about that!) and e) your food is hot, properly prepared as you've ordered it, and actually tastes good. Because I have yet to experience that ONCE at this McDonald's location! It's a wonder that McDonald's corporate hasn't pulled their franchise from this location yet with as badly as it's being managed straight into the ground!...

Some days I meet very hard working and happy people. Most days I get treated like trash.
As a previous McDonald’s worker it’s not hard to smile and treat a customer nicely even when the situation is tough.
One night I ordered two cones and a large coke. I asked for the 1.49 cones as they were the “ large cones” and the only ones being advertised. As the lady on the speaker told me the total which came out to be less than three dollars I asked if she got the cones. She said yes. I asked her if they were the 1.49 cones. She proceeded to sigh and say “ girl”. Whatever at that point I was just annoyed. When we got to the window she had a MAJOR attitude. ( I’ve seen this lady work a couple of times and her attitude seems to never leave). When she handed me the items I asked for a receipt. I got the lame excuse of the machine wasn’t working. McDonald’s printers have options to print to other printers if one specific machine is not working. 🤷🏼♀️. Secondly I got no napkins with my cones. Which on a warm Wisconsin day I didn’t want ice cream all over my car so I asked for some. She walked away for two seconds and brought me two napkins. At this point I was frustrated. I asked for a managers number and she gave me even more of an attitude claiming she didn’t know it. I even asked if the store number was online and she said “ probably idk”.
Again I used to work at a McDonald’s quite recently. There is absolutely no reason to treat everyone you see through the window like you don’t care. If you’re going through hard times don’t come to work. Or at least leave everything back out the door. I’m generally a very understanding and sometimes even helpful customer when it comes to mcdonalds because I understand every struggle. I get it when you have 2 people in the building for close. I understand how it is to get a huge rush when you have no one. I. Get. It. But each time a rush happened I was never rude to.a customer. Customers got their food as quickly as possible and were treated with respect.
We are all humans. Learn to be nice it’ll get you far in life. What won’t get you far is treating everyone you meet like you don’t...
