UPDATE Not sure what happened... The quality of the food has diminished IMO. The entrees that were satisfying and had a fair amount of meat now contain mostly fillers and much less meat. We don't go near as often as when they opened because we leave hungry. In addition, in the last couple months, we have gone in 3 different times on Friday night after 9pm only to be offered take out only. They close at 9:30, but they don't seat customers after 9. So sad. They were my favorite when they first opened, but given the changes, we can spend our money where we are welcomed and can get a decent meal for a fair price.
The food is excellent! Steve gave us excellent service, even when out of town family surprised us during dinner and we had to add to our order. He was so accommodating during a busy dinner rush. The tables are a little crowded, but they've done the best they can with the amount of space they have. They definitely need a bigger restaurant! I'm sure this place will be a popular stop for years to come. I know we are already regulars. Congratulations,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy son and I might have a bad chef that cooked our food last night! I read reviews before I venture out and spend money in eating at a restaurant. This place is new and have good reviews about food but wow, my spicy miso ramen had a weird taste and when I smelled it, it was bad and the waitress asked me how it smells, it smell like sewer I kid you not. Then I tried the pad Thai, beef. I got my plate and it look nothing and taste nothing like a pad Thai! It look and taste like Mongolian beef. It was already 8pm by the time we got our food and I was done trying to get something from their menu. I only had a couple of bites from that Mongolian beef and I stopped. My son had an orange chicken, this is his favorite meal but he said and I agree after tasting it that Panda Express is way better. Sure the presentation is nicer but itās so runny and it shouldnāt be that way. What a total waste of our time and money. I was excited to see a new Asian restaurant in the area but we are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst, let me say that Iām not really Chinese/Asian food literate and I only venture to said restaurants for the sake of my other family members. But Iām telling you, this place has changed my mind. After seeing other reviews and pictures of Fun Noodle Bar in Waxahachie we had to give it a try. We tried a lot of different menu items, and everything was top notch. The portions are huge and truthfully enough for 2 to share. The Orange chicken was so fresh and tasted like real orange with actual mandarin oranges. Best Iāve ever had. Beef and broccoli was super good and the sauce was perfect. Wow, the beef pad Thai was amazing and Iāll definitely make that an item to get again. The soup dumplings are definitely a must have appetizer, and the pan fried bao was good too. The restaurant was very neat and clean, and the service was prompt and friendly. Plus if you want a domestic beer, they were under $4. Thatās the cheapest Iāve seen in my recent eating ventures. We will...
