This is a wonderful place! We dropped by for a lunch, and it was the best! A very friendly lady welcomed us into a perfectly clean, quaint little space, with the chalkboard menu, 2 beer taps, and chilled display of beautiful local meats at the counter. Grebelknud has the best smash burger I've ever had, and the Brat sandwich was also perfect. We bought some fine looking keilbasa to grill at home this weekend! The Cranberry Saison they brewed was incredible, fresh, tasty, and perfect for the lunches we had. This little gem is off the beaten path on a back street, just off of Main St. in Waynesville. The owners are super friendly and will do whatever they can to accommodate your needs, including food allergies. You can also pick up fresh cut meat and in-house cured sausages, bacon, etc. to take home and prepare. We went for a quick dinner on a Wednesday evening. The food was amazing! My husband and son both ordered burgers, and I ordered the Bratwurst hoagie. We also ordered a cup of the Philly soup. Their burgers were flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Outstanding products! We've been shopping here regularly since they opened. Heidi and Karen always provide outstanding customer service along with their products. We have tried their steaks, pork chops, pork shoulder, German Brats, sugar free bacon, homemade pimento cheese, Ashe County cheddar cheese, eggs and some of their dry goods, such as beans. Everything we have had has been of excellent quality and very tasty. All their products are priced fairly. With quality meats and products like these, I don't know why you would shop...
