It is very rare that I ever take the time out to write a bad review. Jobs are hard and sometimes you just have a bad experience. This is my 6th experience with the same recurring problems. When they first opened, fantastic service, quick, clean, and overall a wonderful experience. Now, however, there is no pride taken in what they do. I don’t normally go inside, but when I’ve had to, trash all over the floor, stations not cleaned, and an overall lack of concern for the cleanliness of the facility. And no, they were not busy. Four employees working and one customer, other than myself, at this Starbucks. I love Starbucks, I really do, but so far it is error after error. I always order the same drink. A venti quad shot mocha with no whip cream. Twice, I have not gotten the two extra shots (for which I paid), three times they have had whip cream on them, and twice now, they have been poorly under poured. As if they didn’t steam enough milk and just shorted the cup because they didn’t feel like fixing the issue. When I went in the other day, I watched them make another customers frappacino. They ran out of the base and instead of going to get another one to make the drink correctly, they banged on the blender to get the way to thick mixture out into the cup. If anyone as ever had a frappacino without the base, it’s almost impossible to drink because it separates and leaves you with a hockey puck of flavorless ice. It is worth it to me to pass up the drivethru and go inside ingles where I have never had an issue with getting the beverages the way they are...
Read moreI am a daily Starbucks user and love my reward stars so I was very disappointed to discover that this single Starbucks actually cheats me out of stars. Why? I have no idea what their motive could be! I regularly order a drink that rewards 10.8 stars, everywhere I've been from Texas to Virginia. This store only gives me 10.1 stars for the same drink, same dollar amount. When I first discovered the practice I complained directly to Starbucks and they added stars to my account to make up for the shortfall and said they would speak to the local store management. A few months later I ordered a drink there and nothing had changed; 10.1 stars for a 10.8 star drink. No where else in the Southeast US have I had a similar experience. Read more2 stars- normally this location gives consistently okay and fast service (which is why I give 2 instead of 1)- until a few days ago. I sat at the window for about seven minutes with people piling up behind me as Im waiting on my single drink. When I finally got my drink, I happily took it and pulled away to try to get back to work on time. The reason for two stars isnt because of the speed of service, or because my drink was incorrect... it is because when I took that first, delightfully refreshing sip of frappuccino.... it tasted like someone had made the drink out of DISH SOAP. Not just a hint of dish soap, no- it tasted like I had just swallowed blended soap, sugar, and ice. I had to spit it out after one sip and throw the rest away. It was the most expensive venticup of dish soap I've ever had- I even had someone else try the drink to make sure it wasnt just me......
