Wendy's — Restaurant in Waynesville

This review is for the drive-through as I don't know about how service inside is. Terrible. Insane that the manager runs the takes your order and runs the window, and only takes one order at a time. When the person in front of you gets their order, he will take yours. Waiting an average of 10 minutes once you finally even get to the speaker. It's only to make your window time stay where it should. Making it seem like you're doing your job. Instead, you prefer to leave your line all the way to the road because you need to run out back and smoke in between orders. You know we can see you it's literally right beside the speaker. It would be better to put a sign saying short staff, please be patient as we all understand no one wants jobs anymore, but good grief, could you take more than one order at a time? I'm sure your cook has a big enough grill to cook more than one order. If you were doing it all, I would understand, but you stand there and watch the two in the back while your drive through line stays steadily to the road. Would only recommend going in to order as it's probably...

My boyfriend and I went through the drive through to get food and some tea tonight, right? The guy working was nothing but rude the whole time. which isnt unusual because we're there alot when we get off work and hes always there, just being grumpy. We got our drinks n stuff and immediately drove off. I quickly realized that our drinks tasted like 'poo'. No big deal, we turn around and go to just switch out our drinks for something else. When we pulled up to the speaker we were greated with a "gohead". My boyfriend explains that we just came through and needed to switch our drinks out and the guy just ignored us. Literally did not say anything. So we drive up and tell him again what we wanted again and he rolls his eyes and goes to the back with our cups (which is weird because the drink machine we just watched him use was right by the window). He gives us our drinks and we start to pull off. This guy seriously THREW OUR TEAS OUT THE WINDOW, CUPS AND ALL. Now I have a tea covered trunk.... It was all so unnecessary...

Horrible experience! I did not hear the man at the order window say anything or “to wait”. Got a weird vibe when I pulled up at the window to pay and got scolded that “I told you to wait”(??). Then I paid for my order and then proceeded to pull up behind a stopped car ahead of me - that I figured was awaiting their order, as well. Then a rude woman comes to bring my food and accused me of drinking (I never drink-ever) because “why are you parked here waiting for your order?” I figured that was where you were supposed to wait🤷‍♀️. Then when I told her that I don’t drink, she said that she was going to get my tag number and said “I don’t believe you”. Worst experience that I ever had in any venue - ever. I have never had such a rude and bad experience in any store or restaurant…..ever. Upset me so much that I could hardly eat my food when I got home…….safely, I might add.
