We visited this Burger King for the first time, and at first, everything seemed great. I really liked that they had touchscreen kiosks for placing orders — it was convenient and modern. The interior was clean and the atmosphere pleasant. But unfortunately, one situation ruined the overall impression.
Our order took a very long time to be prepared, even though it was quite simple — just a burger, fries, and ice cream. We waited noticeably longer than expected.
What upset me the most was the Viking’s Chocolate Sundae (a new item for $2.49). In the menu image, it looked very appealing, with a decent portion size. But when it arrived, I was honestly shocked — the ice cream looked sloppy and the portion was about half of what was shown in the picture. The presentation was poor, as if someone had just thrown it together without care.
I politely approached the staff member at the pickup counter and explained that I wasn’t happy with how the dessert looked. I asked if it could be replaced or if something could be added to make up for what was missing. She looked at me with surprise and simply said, “That’s how it’s supposed to be.” I went back to my seat, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it — I paid almost $3 for this dessert, and there was barely even half of what I expected in the cup. Honestly, it’s not even worth a dollar. It made me feel disappointed and even a little hurt. I paid for a full item and didn’t get anything close to what was advertised.
I got up and asked again, this time requesting either a refund or a replacement. The staff member called the manager, but the manager also told me the same thing — “That’s how it’s supposed to be,” and refused to do anything about it.
The whole experience left a bad aftertaste — I felt ignored and unappreciated as a customer, even though I was polite and calm. I had really wanted to leave a great review of this restaurant, but this kind of treatment is...
Read moreWas getting delivery when the manager Kristys niece was very rude and refused to get pick up information for a paying customer online and was extremely rude, loud and yelling telling other manager that's a guy to take it. Didn't even say 1 word to her. Then when I left the store I called the manager guy and told him what just happened and telling him that very unprofessional and actions should be took on her regardless if her aunt is another manager. Well needless to say they(kristy the manager of the niece) very wrongfully band me from the store completely bc she wanted to take her nieces side,a family member? Hmmmm her position should be took from Kristy and her niece should be fired! Cooperate has been called ! Not to mention kristy was gossiping to other employees loudly about it while I was picking up my last order and lieing saying I was the one harassing her little niece when I didn't even say one word to her. Check your cameras! And another thing has a girl dancing listening to music like a fool in the window. So ridiculous how this burger king has become and I grew up coming to this...
Read moreMy sister was at Burger King Weaverville yesterday May 29 2018 around three o'clock in drive thru in the pouring rain ordering food for her co workers when she was cussed out by the person running drive thru. All because she couldn't hear what the disrespectful person was asking her on their outdated speaker. When she tried to explain to Ms. Rudness that she was having a hard time hearing her in the pouring rain the "Burger King person" flew into a rage and proceeded to curse at her. When she pulled out of the line and parked her car she called Burger Kinf and asked to speak to the manager to complain about being cussed out in drive thru. Guess what? The "person" who cussed her out was the MANAGER. She admitted cussing her out and did it again. My sister who is a great grandmother and a cancer survivor who works hard everyday at one of the biggest churches in Buncombe County did not deserve that. I along with many of our church family will NOT be back at your Burger King until that disrespectful "person" is no longer employed there. Clean up your personnel...
