Probably the worst experience at a Waffle House I’ve had. Went 10/5/19 at around 8PM. Waitress greets us, but failed to provide us with silverware. She took our order, and put it in. Shyenne was her name, and she did ask us about our orders, like if we wanted toast or not and what I wanted on my chicken sandwich, which was nice. I get my chicken sandwich with hash browns, exactly how I asked. My friend also gets ham and cheese omelet, everything as it should be. When she asked for syrup, which I was suppose to receive a waffle, the man behind the counter gives her sass, asking if someone ordered a waffle. I finish my food, my waffle no where to be found. I then hear a employee ask another employee if someone ordered a waffle, in which one says it was our table. The woman then proceeds to say,” Oh my, this waffle is burnt!” Then she delivers it to me, knowing it was burnt. Our waitress, Shyenne, comes over and says,” Oh my, do you want another?”. I’m a paying customer, so of course I say yes. I should have never been served a waffle that was burnt and obviously forgotten. I was also suppose to have a peach waffle, which was forgot on both occasions until I was half way through the 2nd waffle. Shyenne was kind enough to offer me a peach waffle to go but I told her it was fine, and she did cross it off my ticket. Not sure the name of the female who handed me a burnt waffle. I don’t normally complain, but if you knowingly hand me something that you know if wrong, then I think it calls for...
Read moreMy wife and I went in to eat a meal. They took our order, and brought us drinks. My wife's sprite had what looked like food or some substance all in her cup that had not been washed out. The cook burned my omlette, then asked me if it was too done after she had already cooked my hash browns. I apologized and said yes. She fully cooked yolk on my wife's over medium eggs. I apologized and told them what was wrong. The cook stormed off in the back and another cook came out and said "I'll fix everything". I apologized again and said I would like to apologize to the cook, and the new cook told me not to say anything about the employees or their training. I tried to apologize to him and I said I'm truly sorry. We have had a long stressful day. Our waitress yelled at me that she had a stressful day also after I wasn't even speaking to her. The cook then told me to leave. I am truly not sure how these people got their job or how they still have it. I tried calling the number to the store to get their management's info so that the customers in the store didn't have to endure anymore stressful drama but the number took me to a looping recording with no answer. I will never visit waffle house again after...
Read moreWeaverville Waffle House is always great. Not only because of the food, but also the staff.
Charlie is always there to great you and put a smile on your face with his humor and charm even when you have to wait for a seat.
Ally Cat and the rest of the waitresses are amazing. On my last visit they helped a young homeless woman who had been basically sleeping at the counter for hours. They provided her with information to get the help she needed. That kind of selflessness is hard to find these days.
The sign on the window that says, "Dinner and a Show" says it all. Hearing the waitstaff call out orders in rapid succession and seeing the cooks carry these out with surgical precision all while having fun with each other and their customers is amazing.
