The location had no other customers at the time of this event. Pulled up to a stall, pressed the red button and waited 15 minutes and never got to place my order. Went to the drive through and waited 5 minutes before someone came on the speaker with a “Whatchu want?” And I placed my order, then went to pay, the lady at the window shoved the drink at me then almost threw my food at me a few minutes later. Afterwards I decided to pull into another stall to check my food and the tater tots were missing. I sat at a stall for 10 minutes before going back to the drive through. The lady did not want to give me my tater tots because I did not have a receipt that she refused to give me my first time around. After explaining my exact order and time I went through she said “Whatever, pull forward.” To which she threw the bag with the tater tots in it into my car and said “have a good one.” In a fairly sarcastic tone. The food was burnt and what wasn’t was terrible. The tater tots definitely taste like they were tampered with before being given to me, I do not feel comfortable eating them in case they were. I feel that this is a major issue that will need to be raised with the health department. This is all very saddening because sonic is one of my go to fast food places but this location amazes me that it is still in business if this is how the employees act and treat customers. I can’t justify ever returning to this location and advise everyone to steer clear, there’s plenty of other places nearby that won’t treat you...

I visited this location on September 4th at 10:55 p.m. hoping to take advantage of half price drinks on the app. I learned that they discontinue this option 20 minutes before closing. Okay so be it. I still want my drinks as I'm already at the location so I pull through the drive-thru. I order a route 44 lemonade with strawberry and a medium strawberry slush with cherry fruit. I'm told at the order speaker that my total is approximately $8 and some change. So I think nothing of it when I receive my drinks and fail to secure the actual receipt. Fast forward to a couple of hours later when I realize that Capital One says I have an approval for 14.48. Obviously that $6 more than even full price of the items I ordered and received. All this set aside. I give them the benefit of the doubt and reach out after Labor Day on Tuesday morning to give the manager the opportunity to correct this. The manager wants to explain to me how their POS systems work, mind you. I'm a retired systems engineer. And refuses to accept the possibility of being charged for the wrong order. As there were other vehicles in line with me at the time. I am told that because I don't have the check number from the bottom of the receipt that they refuse to do anything to correct this matter. I'm not normally the complaining type but this type of behavior and management is outrageous and downright criminal! Shocked that I would ever experience something from someplace I believe to be such a reputable...
Read moreUpdate: Today was the last straw for this Sonic. I only wanted a peach slushy as it was 110° according to my car. I was greeted after a few minutes and promptly told to hold on. I waited patiently while listening to the background noise. He came back, and I placed my order. He didn't talk loud enough to hear over the traffic noise. So he had to ask me more than once if that was all. I tried to tell him just the peach slushy, and he cut me off and gave me the total, which I again couldn't hear, and the screen wasn't working. He honestly sounded like I was inconveniencing him by being there. He was speaking so sharply. I just gave up and drove off, no slushy. I can't stand rude service and didn't trust him with my credit card after the way I was spoken to. The manager could tell that I was frustrated as I drove off. Now, she'll know why. People have to start training their staff on customer service.
The food was ok. The burger was completely cold, and the patty tasted like it was cooked 6 hours ago. After having to wait for 30 minutes for food, I expected something hot after 15...
