I normally go to the Friendswood location as it’s closer to me, but I was out Christmas shopping and decided to stop in to grab something quick to eat and head out as I love chipotle’s offerings. Immediately when I came in the atmosphere wasn’t welcoming. The staff was very rude as I approached as if I wasn’t even there and I was inconveniencing them and doing their job, they did not greet or speak to you in any manner. Along with being out of almost every food item that you were supposed to choose from with it only being 7:30pm in the evening. This is unacceptable. I even asked for guacamole and they told me they were out, yet They had a full batch on the secondary bar so why would they not give me any? They even inconvenienced a mother in front of me that wanted a child’s meal with guacamole and they told her they were out as well. On top of that as I went to go pay, the cashier was on his cell phone. He finally got off so I could pay, but then consistently was on his cell phone throughout the whole time I was here eating. This is very unprofessional and the atmosphere is very bad within this restaurant. Lastly, they were completely out of plasticware on the bar, and it was very dirty as I went up to tell the cashier that there were no forks He questioned me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. He finally went over and refilled the bar with forks. I will not be coming back to this chipotle but luckily, I know the food & atmosphere can be great at the other location I go to. The owner really needs to step up to the employees in this place and require an amount of courtesy to customers along with making sure they have all items available to order from. Hire new management as you can tell, it is not run properly.

3/5/2022 - walked in around 9:08PM, its now 9:29PM and I only now just paid and walked out. Only 1 customer was in-front of me. Service was very slow because they closed the side section already (even though they close at 10:00 PM) and were processing online orders in the main line. There were at least 5 employees in the store but, 2 were in the back cleaning the grills, 1 was on the register and the last 2 were working the line. I understand wanting to clean so you can leave and go home right at close. But what happened to taking care of the customers that are in-front of you versus prioritizing the online orders? They took care of 4 or more online orders between me and the other customer that was ahead of me. It was very unorganized and I contemplated just leaving. But this was my first meal of the day and I am really hungry. If corporate reads this, I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble. Everyone needs a job. But taking care of customers in the store has to be the priority. And please, no requests for contact. You don’t have to do anything to appease 1 unhappy customer. I’ll likely still visit this location, but how many customers won’t come back because of experiences like this? It’s not like this location is surrounded by 30+ places to eat.

The food was okay, but the chips were stale. The 3 people working all had a bad attitude. There were sighing, eye rolling, and ignoring me. I don’t bother saying anything in person because no one seems to care. But maybe they can study chick fil an and get some of that mojo. Update 2/2025: I don’t think that chipotle employees are trained on customer service. There’s no greeting no smile no sense of when to order because nobody says anything. They just stare. When I ask what I want it takes several repetitions before they understand what I’m talking about even though I’m just saying words like “taco.” Despite all the negative, the food is absolutely delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of chipotle until I tried the tacos with sofritas and I’m addicted. I don’t know what needs to happen to make chipotle a friendly place to visit. I don’t know if they need more employees. I don’t know if they need more training. I don’t know if their wages are too low but something‘s gotta give because this environment doesn’t allow for bad customer service when there is other options, especially with the economy the way it is each sale lost is a big deal. Anyhow, I’ll be back for the food that’s for sure.

First time ordering Chipotle. I got the chicken bowl with double protein (4$ extra. The bowl is $9.50, so it's equivalent to buying half another bowl). I used the app. I ordered the bowl with extra rice, double meat, extra black beans, light fajita veggies, and the regular cheese that comes on it. I got 3 salsas on the side. My daughter wanted a large queso and 4 tortillas, so I ordered that too, and by using the app (and it being my first order, I got a free guacamole). I ordered at 930 PM to pickup at 1030 PM (they closed at 11; the bowl was almost 15$ before tax, 22$ with the queso and tortillas). I arrived, nobody said a word to me, they were mopping with bleach. I went to the mobile order station and there was nothing there. I went to the counter and said I had a mobile order, and some kid gave me my bag. I peeked to make sure I got everything, but I did not open the bowl. That was a mistake. When I got home, I was GREATLY disappointed 😞. I got 3/4 bowl rice, a scoop of beans (no extra), not even 1 portion of chicken (and it was dry and old; you could tell that it was the end of the day and they scraped the pan and probably didn't want to make more meat, even though I ordered 1 hr in advance). Needless to say, I would've been better off buying 2 bowls as then I may have actually received a decent meal. What makes me even more angry is that there's tons of bad reviews at this location. Management must not care. I don't mind paying extra for extra food, but if I pay extra, I would like to actually receive my extra food, not get ripped off. Times are tough, and eating out is now a treat. I would like good food that's not petrified wood. I will never go back there again. Listen to the reviews and stay away. The kids working at night do not care. Horrible first experience. I wish I could bring it back, but I got home after 11, and they're already closed. Do not go here. If anyone knows of a good location in the vicinity, please...

A coworker and I ordered via her app for lunch, but we got trapped in a meeting & missed our pickup time. We attempted to change our pickup time via the app, but it didn't have a option to do that. A full hour after our pickup time, I show up, fully expecting cold food, which was my fault because I was late. When I got there, I found out they hadn't started on my order, probably because of some policy written because of people like me (which I totally understand). I tell the guy at the register I'm here to pick up, I pay, and I tell him I'm just going to run next door to pick up an order I had made, and I'd be back within 3 minutes. When I come back in, check back in with the guy, they STILL hadn't begun to make our order, the line of in-house customers was longer, and they suddenly informed me they didn't have any brown rice, which is the first line-item on the order, so now I know they haven't even read the order before right now. And how do you run out of brown rice. You really don't have that many options on your menu. You aren't Freebirds. You don't even have queso. Anyway, I wait, they throw together our food, but don't offer me any kind of free chips or a free drink or even an "I'm so sorry about that" or anything for me waiting. I would have gotten my food faster had I come into the store and waited in line like everybody else, so why the heck do you even have online ordering. I would have been happier with cold food (which would have been my fault) than food I had to wait for (which was yours). I understand some of this bad experience was probably Chipotle policy, but the staff didn't do anything make a negative situation any better. Hopefully management will see this review & think of ways to make the online customers' experience better in the future. (Hint: All you have to do is throw in free chips. It's literally the cheapest thing on the menu at $1.30 and probably costs your...

The service sucked, big time the two gals serving couldn’t smile if you paid them. Greeting was “ What can I get you?” I responded hello how are you today? It’s extremely discouraging when people are paid to greet you with kindness and serve you without a look that states “I really don’t wanna be here.” However, as I walked in, I noticed those two gals were having a very nice conversation with the two guys working the grill. So maybe the wages suck and they don’t wanna be there however they like talking with the boys. I’m Hispanic I’m not a racist, but maybe they’re illegal? They don’t know how to communicate with customers, smile, etc. even the young couple behind me who were caucasians didn’t seem to get any smile or positive mannerism and communication. I would highly recommend AI robots instead of the people that worked at front counter. The food is good and that’s about it. I really don’t care if it was my Wife cooking her Chile Verde, if she couldn’t smile or have a pleasant look about her face, her food would suck also. This is a little bit long winded, but as I said highly discouraged with the service it made the food suck big time. This is not the first time that this has occurred. I work across the street just up the block even my manager has said he just does Mobile orders to avoid seeing the personnel that work there because the customer service doesn’t exist. At this point I think I’ll just stick with Freebirds though their food isn’t quite as good as chipotle, their queso is much better than chipotles and the people that work there they know how to greet you and Smile. That makes the food much better. I didn’t recommend any food there because as long as the service sucks, I won’t recommend chipotles further I asked for extra steak and extra chicken. They act as if the meat is being paid for out of their paychecks. When you get extra protein/meat at Freebirds it is...
