First time ordering Chipotle. I got the chicken bowl with double protein (4$ extra. The bowl is $9.50, so it's equivalent to buying half another bowl). I used the app. I ordered the bowl with extra rice, double meat, extra black beans, light fajita veggies, and the regular cheese that comes on it. I got 3 salsas on the side. My daughter wanted a large queso and 4 tortillas, so I ordered that too, and by using the app (and it being my first order, I got a free guacamole). I ordered at 930 PM to pickup at 1030 PM (they closed at 11; the bowl was almost 15$ before tax, 22$ with the queso and tortillas). I arrived, nobody said a word to me, they were mopping with bleach. I went to the mobile order station and there was nothing there. I went to the counter and said I had a mobile order, and some kid gave me my bag. I peeked to make sure I got everything, but I did not open the bowl. That was a mistake. When I got home, I was GREATLY disappointed 😞. I got 3/4 bowl rice, a scoop of beans (no extra), not even 1 portion of chicken (and it was dry and old; you could tell that it was the end of the day and they scraped the pan and probably didn't want to make more meat, even though I ordered 1 hr in advance). Needless to say, I would've been better off buying 2 bowls as then I may have actually received a decent meal. What makes me even more angry is that there's tons of bad reviews at this location. Management must not care. I don't mind paying extra for extra food, but if I pay extra, I would like to actually receive my extra food, not get ripped off. Times are tough, and eating out is now a treat. I would like good food that's not petrified wood. I will never go back there again. Listen to the reviews and stay away. The kids working at night do not care. Horrible first experience. I wish I could bring it back, but I got home after 11, and they're already closed. Do not go here. If anyone knows of a good location in the vicinity, please...
Read moreA coworker and I ordered via her app for lunch, but we got trapped in a meeting & missed our pickup time. We attempted to change our pickup time via the app, but it didn't have a option to do that. A full hour after our pickup time, I show up, fully expecting cold food, which was my fault because I was late. When I got there, I found out they hadn't started on my order, probably because of some policy written because of people like me (which I totally understand). I tell the guy at the register I'm here to pick up, I pay, and I tell him I'm just going to run next door to pick up an order I had made, and I'd be back within 3 minutes. When I come back in, check back in with the guy, they STILL hadn't begun to make our order, the line of in-house customers was longer, and they suddenly informed me they didn't have any brown rice, which is the first line-item on the order, so now I know they haven't even read the order before right now. And how do you run out of brown rice. You really don't have that many options on your menu. You aren't Freebirds. You don't even have queso. Anyway, I wait, they throw together our food, but don't offer me any kind of free chips or a free drink or even an "I'm so sorry about that" or anything for me waiting. I would have gotten my food faster had I come into the store and waited in line like everybody else, so why the heck do you even have online ordering. I would have been happier with cold food (which would have been my fault) than food I had to wait for (which was yours). I understand some of this bad experience was probably Chipotle policy, but the staff didn't do anything make a negative situation any better. Hopefully management will see this review & think of ways to make the online customers' experience better in the future. (Hint: All you have to do is throw in free chips. It's literally the cheapest thing on the menu at $1.30 and probably costs your...
Read moreThe service sucked, big time the two gals serving couldn’t smile if you paid them. Greeting was “ What can I get you?” I responded hello how are you today? It’s extremely discouraging when people are paid to greet you with kindness and serve you without a look that states “I really don’t wanna be here.” However, as I walked in, I noticed those two gals were having a very nice conversation with the two guys working the grill. So maybe the wages suck and they don’t wanna be there however they like talking with the boys. I’m Hispanic I’m not a racist, but maybe they’re illegal? They don’t know how to communicate with customers, smile, etc. even the young couple behind me who were caucasians didn’t seem to get any smile or positive mannerism and communication. I would highly recommend AI robots instead of the people that worked at front counter. The food is good and that’s about it. I really don’t care if it was my Wife cooking her Chile Verde, if she couldn’t smile or have a pleasant look about her face, her food would suck also. This is a little bit long winded, but as I said highly discouraged with the service it made the food suck big time. This is not the first time that this has occurred. I work across the street just up the block even my manager has said he just does Mobile orders to avoid seeing the personnel that work there because the customer service doesn’t exist. At this point I think I’ll just stick with Freebirds though their food isn’t quite as good as chipotle, their queso is much better than chipotles and the people that work there they know how to greet you and Smile. That makes the food much better. I didn’t recommend any food there because as long as the service sucks, I won’t recommend chipotles further I asked for extra steak and extra chicken. They act as if the meat is being paid for out of their paychecks. When you get extra protein/meat at Freebirds it is...
