This is my Absolute Favourite Place to go! Thee Best scones anywhere! The Lemon BlueBerry is definitely a Fave! Different Fresh Baked Muffins everyday! The Cinnamon Buns (with icing on the side?!) are heavenly….You literally savor every single bite! The Strata, the Quiche, the Breakfast Sandwiches ((and so much more!))…..ALL so tasty and always worth going for as often as you can! The “RBF Breakfast Sandwich” is probably my Fave Sandwich though! …the “name” alone says it all! (😉lol) Everything is made, baked and served right in front of you. The Open View Kitchen allows you to see the Master Baker & Owner hard at work (and usually covered in flour!😂) BUT…. One of the MOST AMAZING things about Sage Hills Bakery is the Welcoming Atmosphere, the Incredible Staff & Owner, the Inclusiveness and Safe Space for ((((everyone)))) that they have created, When you are there, you are truly at ease & can just relax and enjoy the Amazing Baked Good & Kick Azz Cappuccinos! The Owner & Staff always remember your name, great you with a huge smile, ask how you are. There…you are treated like you are part of a Chosen Family! How can you top that?! This place impressed me in so many ways. Service ranged from friendlyaverage to friendlychattyaboveaberage. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Some quichey things and pastries ready to grab, as well as a menu.

The menu had a plethora of egg sammies way beyond the basics, and anywhere that serves Mama Lil's Peppers gets bonus points in my book. The food was tasty - me, breakfast sammy; mom - biscuits and gravy. The sammich was melty and yummy. The B&G was stupendous. I'm a former brunch chef so I know a little bit about breakfast food, and the biscuit here was fresh fresh baked, fluffy, grilled on the half, all as god intended. The gravy was, I'm sad to say, better even than the gravy I make at home. Probably #2 out of maybe 100 different brekkie gravies I've ever tasted. I think I even spied some saffron in it - expensive as heck!

What really motivated me to write this review, though, was the incredulity I felt when I viewed the cleanliness of their kitchen. I worked in restaurants for 10+ years, and this was the cleanest commercial kitchen I've ever seen in my life. No uck or stains in the grease trap? All foodstuffs in sealed containers and not the 50-lb bags they came in? No doughy bits stuck on the floor? No years' worth of caked batters gluing the industrial stand mixers in their place? Not even the slightest dusting of flour on the floor - in a baking kitchen?! Mind = blown.

Without a doubt the best cafe and bakery experience you will find in the Wenatchee area! The food is incredible and impeccably made. They provide you with great basics, or more creative options for the courageous diner. The beverages are likewise made with care and expertise. Everything tastes like it is made from scratch in the best possible way.

But while the food and drinks are phenomenal, the best part of Sage Hills Bakery is their amazing staff and customer service!!! They are all so personable and help you feel welcomed and catered to on a personal level. After four visits, the staff already knows my partner and me by name and always asks about our lives. They're committed to providing you not just with a great breakfast or lunch, but a joyful dining experience.

Finally, this place is SUPER LGBTQIA+ friendly and has a clear social justice focus. They have been excellent about keeping people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic as well, and you can tell that ethics and fair practice are a top priority. I cannot recommend them enough!!!
