Bonkerz Indoor Play Cafe — Local services in Wenatchee

Navigating play places with small kiddos can be daunting…not here! Today was our first time there and I’m currently 40 weeks + 1 day pregnant with 2 under 4 and they needed to get some wiggles out.

Check-in was seamless and I was immediately put at ease seeing the equipment and how much padding and soft toys there were that were friendly enough for my 1.5 year old to run around with her bigger sister. Everything is in easy eyesight to keep track of multiple kiddos at the same time. I didn’t feel like I constantly had to rescue them while they were playing because there wasn’t anything too perilous to try out. It wasn’t overcrowded with too many kids because you reserve time blocks and they have capacities. The play area is made for kids specifically in the 0-6 age bracket so I wasn’t worried about a rogue 10 year old smashing into my toddler.

Highly highly recommend for any parents with young kiddos! My two tips would be to make sure you bring grippy socks so there’s no slipping on the tile (I believe they also sell some there) and if you’re solo parenting or can’t bring an adult wingman - caffeinate before you go because drinks are on the outside of the play space and your young kiddos won’t wanna wait for you to drink your drink to play haha. I was able to get a snack/drink break after about an hour or so which was great, but something I’ll keep in mind for next time if I’m going alone in the morning.

Well, let me tell ya, as a parent of four lively young’uns, finding a place like Bonkerz Indoor Play Cafe here in Wenatchee feels like hittin’ the jackpot.

This place is downright brilliant! It’s like they’ve thought of everything for us parents who just need a moment to sip a hot cup of coffee while the kids are safe and havin’ a ball.

The whole setup is fantastic. The play area is padded, super well-lit, and you can see your kids wherever they are—no blind spots at all. I watched ‘em clean every nook and cranny while I was there, and let me tell ya, they’re on top of their game. It’s clear that safety and cleanliness are top priorities.

What I really love is how much fun the little ones can have. There’s all kinds of stuff to keep ‘em entertained—climbing, pretend play, you name it—and it’s all designed for kiddos up to six years old.

Meanwhile, we grown-ups get to sit back in their comfy café area with plenty of seating, enjoy a cup of coffee, and maybe even plug in our phones or laptops if we need to. It’s perfect!

They’ve got flexible options for families too, like single play passes or monthly memberships if you’re a regular, plus bundles for those of us with more than one kid who love a good deal.

My son absolutely loves Bonkerz! I know they just opened, so I will be updating my review when / if needed. The play area is great, I just wish there was more color to the equipment and toys. My son won't stop saying "the grass is grey and dirty" 🤣 but he's two. the cafe does lack a lot of food items for both adults and young children.
