The Dilly Deli — Restaurant in Wenatchee

Finally stopped in here after I've been coming to Wenatchee for work off and on for years. I have heard great things about this place from colleagues, and my buddy I worked with today was hankering for a sandwich. I suggested we give Dilly Deli a try, and am glad we gave it a try.

I got the turkey pesto, and had it in a garlic wrap. The wrap wasn't particularly strong in garlic flavor, but was tasty and had a great soft, pliable, chewy texture. Many places wraps will tear apart and spill your wrap's guts all over the place, not this wrap! I am not normally one to go for sprouts, but this sandwich comes with sprouts and I AM a fan of trying menu items for the first time as the creator intended. The sprouts were fresh and added a nice bit of texture. Turkey was pretty good. But the thing that made this one really stand out was definitely the pesto! Very flavorful.

Decent prices considering you're paying about as much as a sub at a chain but getting extremely fresh ingredients.

Decided to order from this deli as their vegetarian sandwich option is basically my favorite toppings on a bagel - why don’t more places do this?!? All the veggies, sprouts, and cream cheese - and then I added Turkey and ham because why not. Also got their tomato soup which was tangy and flavorful and a nice pairing with the sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie was very big - and had flaky salt on top. Excellent quality, nice big shards of chocolate and crispy on the edges but still chewy in the middle.

I ordered online and was quoted 45 minutes, I said sure, it was lunch time so they’re busy. Showed up at my designated time and they couldn’t find my order but the nice counter folks expedited it in the kitchen and gave me an extra cookie to make up for it. Waited less than five minutes and everything was packaged nicely to go.

Plenty of parking for all of the shops in the plaza. Keep making the veggie...

Normally we enjoy the dilly deli whenever we go. Their food is, usually pretty great. However, today after placing our pickup order, I arrived at the dilly deli and tried calling for curbside 4x over with no response. I went inside, and there were quite a few people working, and I was able to pick it up then with some ease. The food however, was not on par with their usual quality. Our soup leaked out of the containers (the lids were not sealed on the soup, even a little bit) and soaked through the box and into the seat on the transport home. Picking them up, one of the soups completely spilled all over our other things. Our sandwiches were hastily thrown together, and the soup we could salvage was greasy and not overall very good.
