Town Toyota Center — Attraction in Wenatchee

Went to a hockey game on ugly Christmas sweater night. So much fun. Weather was horrible, but still not a bad size crowd. Unfortunately Penticton lost, but the game was good. Was a great win for Wenatchee. Great facility for a small town but there are issue's with both the lighting and sound system. It was so loud and distorted you cannot have a conversation with a person sitting next to you. I forgot earplugs which made things uncomfortable. Both the music and the announcer were so LOUD and with the poor building acoustics it was almost painful. Earplugs are a must here. We also noticed poor ice lighting. Way too many shadows on the ice. Looks like only half the lights are on, very poor for hockey. We had some of the same problems at our rink in Penticton when it first opened, but now it's great. We love Junior A hockey and it's so great to see small towns build these types of multi use arenas. I hope more small towns are able to build these...

I recently had the pleasure of attending a hockey game at the Town Toyota Center, where the Wild faced off against the Thunderbirds. The venue was quite impressive with good seating arrangements and amenities, making it a comfortable place to enjoy the game.

One thing to note is the traffic situation in the area post-game. It was a bit congested, so it's advisable to plan accordingly to navigate through it smoothly. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience was fantastic, which is why I'm rating the Town Toyota Center a well-deserved 5 stars. I haven’t left ANY bad reviews in my life, but after encountering the security staff at the ice skating rink I don’t think I have ever been treated so rudely and actually walked out of a place before. I was just trying to peak and see how busy the place was because I didn’t want to go or pay if it was as busy as it looked. I can tell he has never been in the service industry or if he has he has done an awful job. You dont treat people like that. The level of compassion or respect was extremely low. And the amount of effort he tried to be kind was literally none. He definitely enjoyed being a jerk by the smerks and comments he had, and I don’t recommend coming on Friday nights if this guy is working. I will not...
