I came to see if this place’s service has improved & by the reviews it has not. I hadn’t shared my experience but I will for people that value good customer service & are cautious what businesses they give their money too. I had asked for tacos al pastor with no onions. Once I got my tacos they had onions. They were busy so I was understanding. I kindly went up to the cashier to let her know of the mistake. She went to notify someone in back. A man & lady came out, the man yelled at me aggressively stating that ALL tacos al pastor came with onion due to how they’re cooked. That’s a lie, he wasn’t going to gaslight me. I’m hispanic, I have had plenty of Al pastor tacos at different restaurants with no onions. Most places accommodate requests for no onions. And if this place does prepare their tacos with the onion integrated the cashier could have let me know that when I ordered & I would have gladly ordered something else. The lady standing with him was not surprised by his behavior so I’m sure that’s normal behavior for him. The cashier was younger & was clearly embarrassed by the man’s behavior she just gave me my money back instead of asking if I would like anything else. Which I wouldn’t have at that point but still. My whole family was dining there so we had spent a lot of money! My family awkwardly hurried up & ate their food so we could leave. Since the place was busy even more embarrassing FOR THEM to treat customers in that manner. Safe to say I never went back. I rather go to the taco trucks that always treat people with respect! There’s also plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area with good food & wonderful customer service that I rather spend my money at. Note: if you do go take your own salsas. Their watered down salsas...

My friend recommended that I stopped by here since I was going to be in the area, and we just so happened to be ravenously hungry after a hike and decided to drop by. I really like the layout of the restaurant. It's very spacious and there's a lot of seating, service was very friendly and fast as well and the lady who took her order gave really good recommendations.
My husband ordered a machete and I ordered a quesabirria, and let me tell you that the first bite I took made me so incredibly happy and so devastatingly sad at the exact same time. It was in that moment that I realized that I thought I'd have been eating really good Mexican food in Seattle, and compared to this, I hadn't. I realized that I would only get to taste this amazing food once or twice a year and so I tried my best to save her every bite and ended up making a second order because I just couldn't get enough of it.
If you happen to be in the area, I am ordering you to go to this establishment and eat their food. You...
Read moreService was fantastic. The lady I talked to explained some items on the menu, and she also pointed out the spinning al pastor skewer in the kitchen visible from the counter. Seeing the skewer sealed the deal for me.
The machete with al pastor, onion, cilantro, and cheese in a handmade tortilla was filling. Overall the dish was a little dry and was light-handed in the seasoning. Whether being dry was from spending some time on the flat top or the al pastor needing a little more pineapple among the meat, it did rely on the accompanying salsa for additional flavor and juiciness. For the price, I can't say I'd order this particular dish again. It was good, but didn't pack a flavor punch.
Jamaica beverage was among the best I've had. It was sweet, but it wasn't just pure sugar. Pleasantly surprised with this item.
Space was pretty laid back. Grab a drink on the way to the counter, order at the counter, find a table, and wait for a very short amount of time for your food.
I'd like to come back to try the birria I see rave...
